The restaurant is beautifly located just by the beach. During the day they even offer sun beds. Food is good but the service is really bad. We've been here a few days ago and took two sun beds and drinks. A guy called George (probably Jorgos) was so nice and funny. Afterwords we've sat down by one of the tables and ate a really good lunch. We've had a really good impression of this place and wanted to come back. All of that changed today. The same guy, George who was so nice the other day, treated us today like dirt. We were walking by the restaurant around 2pm but we've had a late breakfast so we weren't ready for lunch just yet. All of the sun beds were taken so we sat down by one of the tables (almost all of them were free) to get some drinks, possibly wait for a few sunbeds and eat something afterwords. Unfortunately the same waiter said that they are a restaurant and he will not give us drinks. If we want coffee and water we can go to the next bar!! Really???!!!! I'd get it if we were not to order anything or if most of the tables were taken but the place was almost empty! Plus we wanted to pay for drinks, befs and later on food.... Jesus... I'm not recommending this to ANYONE! We, us customers deserve some respect, because you never know how many times we'll come back and how much are we going to spend. Shame. If I were a manager I'd fire a guy just like that, fist thing. No manners at all. PS. The food is really lovely. We've...
Read moreIn our three days on the island, we unfortunately realized that the value for money is often disappointing, and this restaurant is no exception. That said, when it comes to prices, everyone is free to judge based on their own budget.
The location is truly charming, with tables just a few steps from the sea: a very pleasant setting.
However, there were a few things that left us rather unimpressed:
Service was quite slow: a significant amount of time passed between menaging to place the order and then getting our food.
Poor attention to children: when there are very young children at the table, you’d expect them to be served first, especially when you’re just asking for a simple plate of pasta. Instead, they were served last, and the sauce tasted like it came straight out of a jar from the supermarket.
Communication could be improved: I ordered fried calamari for €13, only to be told that at that price they were frozen, and if I wanted them fresh, the cost would be €19. Too bad this distinction wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the menu. On an island that lives of fishing, where fresh fish is everywhere, is it really acceptable to serve frozen seafood...
Read moreWe ordered fish, and it was clearly old and spoiled the smell and taste were unmistakable. When we politely informed the staff, instead of offering a replacement, refund, or even an apology, the response we got was: “We can’t do anything about it” from the OWNER. “” Althought the waiter was super sweet and professional””. Completely unacceptable. As if that wasn’t enough, when we started taking photos to document the experience for a review, the owner himself came outside and started taking pictures of us, laughing mockingly. Completely unprofessional and honestly disturbing behavior from someone running a business. I even have a photo of him taking a photo of us, which says everything you need to know about how seriously they take customer service. Save your money and your stomach avoid this place at all costs. You can see the owner in the photo how he is taking pictures for me !!!!
BE CAREFUL GUYS dont go there, the owner supposed to love taking pictures of his customers and use them...
