Alyggos Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Agios Nikolaos

This is our undisputed favourite bar in Elounda! We have many happy memories of past visits, some more raucous (and into the early hours) than others! It was such a delight to return this April/May 2023. We already miss the lovely staff, views, atmosphere, drinks and snacks. Lovely to 'people watch' over a beer and, in the evening, a cocktail. I have been coming to this bar for nearly thirty years and over twenty years with my partner Robert it is without the best bar in Elounda, the owner Nikos and his family make you feel as though you were part.of there family. Fantastic staff they also now have a new state of the ark kitchen serving amazing food by a Scottish Chef Ian Campbell in a new alfresco dining area adjacent to the outside bar area. I was trying to pass time until my friend from the area finished his shift. This bar was nearby. It's in the centre of the town across the main parking area.
