Bebi's — Restaurant in Municipality of Alimos

PLEASE AVOID Utterly shocked with the service here. This places boasts a high rating but I am SHOCKED as I have never had such an unpleasant experience!! The server (assuming the owner) sat at opposite end of restaurant completely avoiding eye contact and ignoring us. Food was very overpriced, tasted cheap and bland. I hoped for some Parmesan to make the ‘fresh pasta’ (clearly from a packet) taste better but the server disappeared and then went back to his usual spot avoiding eye contact. The female toilets were filthy. Taps filled with grime and tissue bin filled to the brim with visibly dirty toilet paper wide open (although the place had just opened so probably from the previous night)

I walked over to him to ask if I can pay the bill and he was extremely rude to me asking whether I was paying cash or card to which I replied I wasn’t sure as I hadn’t seen the bill - he ignored me and left us sitting AS HE SAT IN THE SAME SEAT without coming over to give the bill until we had to approach him again to ask again if we can pay the bill. He was very rude and didn’t ask a simple question of how our evening went, totally ruined our last day in Athens. Probably the best place I ate in Greece and I had checked more than few restaurants during my severals stays there. 11 of us including our youngest daughter Matylda were there 10 days ago. The waiter, huge and nice guy, as I suppose the owner, was very friendly and communicative, altgough a little bit confused when we wanted to have two separate orders and bills for two families. Nevertheless we came to agreement about it and after eating deliciuos food we paid astonishingly reasonable one bill. They gave as a tremendous discount. Sea bass was the best I ate in my life. The steak my friend ordered was also premium class and premium size, I tasted small piece. And 3 turns of icecreams for kids and liqours for adults as a gift was something extraordinary. This is the best family restaurant for families in Athens, that's for sure:) We even met a cook, she is very nice lady and defenitely knows her job. Best regards to you...

New in the area was one of the places that I wanted to try. Went after late work on a Saturday near closing time asking if they would serve me and they agreed. I ordered a well done ramp stake and requested if they could replace the fries with grilled veggies and although they told me they can do a side salad they brought me an excellent stake with loads of grilled vegetables expertly cooked. The lady who served me was extremely polite and overall the experience was a pleasant surprise given the loads of bad and overpriced restaurants in the area and adjacent municipalities. Parking was not a problem on a Saturday and the bill was on the cheap for the service and atmosphere. I totally recommend it if you live in the area and possibly it is worth...
