PIRI PIRI — Restaurant in Municipality of Alimos

I heard that PIRI PIRI started to operate under new management few months ago and therefore my family (6 people) decided to pay a visit and see how things are now. Well.... We wish we had taken the decision earlier. Kitchen and all the store is super clean, people working there are very polite and always there to serve you the soonest. Food is super tasty and clean (not greasy). It is very obvious that pay attention to good quality of food combined with very good cooking.

We have visited the store twice (on Fridays) because they also have amazing hog (gourounopoula). Hog is made to perfection. It was F A N T A S T I C!!!

Without doubt PIRI PIRI is an amazing place to eat some superb Greek food such as souvlaki, salad and some Greek appetizers like fried cheese (saganaki), french fries, tzatziki etc. Please do not forget to taste the hog!!!!!!

The worst service I have experienced for long time! We came to the restaurant in the evening, the waiter was pushing on us and promising 5-10 minutes to get the table. When we finally got it after 20 minutes we had to wait for menu for another 20 minutes and after ordering we had to wait for almost 1,5h for our meals. We got it only because and only after we started discussing and arguing with the waiter. I understand that there is a lot of people and orders in the evening but professional restaurant should inform us about waiting time, but they simply wanted to get clients. When we raised that we are waiting for over an hours the waiter started arguing with us and even saying in a very offensive and unprofessional way “how long you wait, 20 minutes?” And when we said it’s over 1h they started preparing our meals. Piri Piri was in front of our hotel, so on our first day we automatically went there. The food, staff and atmosphere were amazing!!! We went there every day to eat pork skewers that amazing waiter recommended to us. After few days, they remembered us and every time when we showed up, they will give us food before everyone else and that just bought us totally!! Someties it’s crowded but they gives everything of themselves to make you welcomed.
