My previous experiences at this hotel were much better. It seems like pandemic had some side effects (this was a COVID hotel). On the website, I read the incorrect information that breakfast is served at the top. The rooms have been renovated. Slippers and a set of toothbrushes and toothpaste are provided. There were 4 problems with the room I got - there was no key to the safe. The door to the terrace could not be closed, the light in the room did not work, and neither did the hairdryer in the bathroom. The receptionist offered me to move to another room the next day. I think it could have been coordinated, to prepare my room first, after 11 a.m., instead of wasting 3 hours, waiting for 2 p.m. to move. Breakfast is worse than a few years ago. All the time, 2 police officers were present at the hotel reception 24 hours a day. On the last night, the new, younger night receptionist, who seemed confused, told me that his colleague from the morning shift had not told him that I needed a takeaway breakfast because I was leaving early. Still, he said he would do it, and he wrote down the time he should call me to the room in the morning. Neither I got a call, nor the breakfast was ready. When I went down to check out, the receptionist did not have a reasonable answer why, in accordance with the agreement, breakfast was not prepared for me and why he did not call me. I think that he is not functional (able ) to perform the mentioned job, unlike the other, older night receptionist. I would like to mention that at the time I was staying in the hotel there were several free rooms. For this reason, then because I am staying in the hotel for the third time (2017,2018) as well as due to numerous inconveniences, I asked the receptionist who works in the afternoon shift if I could pay extra for 1 more day and stay 2, which means, pay for 4 days and stay 5. I think his reaction was not only surprising and unprofessional but also passive-aggressive. As an active tourist, I have had numerous benefits in terms of hotels, and I will mention only those related to Athens: in 2023, I received 1 free day at another hotel in Alimos after my stay, and in 2024, I also received a free day at the Brown Hotel in the Omonia area, with only 2 days spent. I am glad if I completed the deficit of information about the hotel's practices to the receptionist in order to motivate the guests to return to them. Even if someone is surprised, it is necessary that the reaction be reduced because we do not communicate as private acquaintances but as business associates. Because of all the above, it is clear that a realistic rating would be 2. Due to the satisfaction with the price offered by Alexandros, due to the fact that the receptionists are mostly professional and because I got a better room than the one I paid for, I will give a higher rating. I think that in this hotel it is best to be placed in the side part...

ROOMS
We stayed 4 people in a 12 square meter ish (very very small) 2-people room while other larger empty rooms weren't even given to any of our 30 group member where others had to squeeze in rooms just like us. We had a bunk bed fitted in our room which had ladders and falling protections installed with the help of zip-ties. The bunk bed was also making a lot of noise at even the slightest move Nightstands were filthy, just like other furniture elements in the room. Fridge not closing, therefore unable to keep things cool. Bathroom very small. Showerhead not working, very low pressure. AC struggling to cool down the room, which doesn't work if you don't leave the card in its place, which is impossible as you can't leave the room without keys to reopen the door. Lights in the rooms are just brainlessly wired to the fusebox. When you turn on the bathroom lights you also turn on the hallway lights, which are disturbing for others in the room at night. No main light in the room, only small lamps. Lights on the balcony are opened the whole night, visible through the curtains Storage space is also a problem as the room is very small. The balcony sliding doors just aren't doing their job. As the hotel is placed near 6-lane road which is full day and night. Very noisy and disturbing at night. Balcony has decent space Stains on bedsheets, towels, everything(even walls)
LOCATION
Pros Nearby tram and bus stations Couple grocery stores neaby Park on the other side of the road Close to the beach
Cons No parking spaces Near a main road Far from any tourists objectives Far from malls, bigger shops etc
The hotel lift doesn't have a door so be careful There is a snacks and drinks vending machine at the reception
STAFF
The maids are STEALING from you. Many of us were surprised when we found biscuits, Pringles or chocolate missing from our room. Also they drank from our bottles. We were surprised to find our sealed snacks in their cleaning supply room because it was open as they were still cleaning other rooms. When we told the desk staff what we discovered at the reception (with videos and everything as proof), their excuse was that opened snacks may attract bugs, which would have been understandable if our snacks were opened, which wasn't the case as they were unopened and they didn't take the actual opened snacks we had laying around. Another excuse for what happened was "Our maid sworn on her son she didn't take them" . They didn't touch any of our other belongings as laptops, headsets or cash. From what we saw...
