Picturesque, Delicious, 5 stars. Margaritas is a fantastic blackboard menu restaurant with killer views and lovely staff. The dishes my party enjoyed were the eggplant dukah, the zucchini salad, the stuffed vegetables, tuna cut with seasonal greens, the chef special saffron grouper fillet, the cheese cake/pie and the orange pastry cake. All absolutely delicious! The eggplant dukah and zucchini salad, a perfect amalgamation of comforting spices and a fantastic start to the meal. The stuffed vegetables were delicious, simple and perfectly done. The tuna fillet, fresh and wonderfully charred with a lovely mix of wild greens seasoned to perfection. The grouper, and the chef special was a group favourite with incredible saffron flavour and a melt in the mouth texture, if you are so lucky to have an opportunity to sample this dish I highly recommend you take it. Though I must say the desserts were my personal favourite and follow the mains wonderfully. The cheesecake was divine, rich and creamy and with it a delicious serving of honeycomb that compliments expertly with the less sweet but fluffy creamy cheesecake. The orange cake was similarly delicious with layers of flaky pasty doused with an orange glaze, it is indulgent and sweet, paired with a scoop of vanilla ice cream that was light and creamy. These spectacular dishes along with waitstaff who love a good chat and a laugh and immaculate views of kisili beach make for an excellent meal and one that is worth the stop travelling...
Read moreOutstanding! I’m Greek and this is the best Greek food I’ve ever had. Finally a place that masterfully combines local ingredients and Greek cuisine with European skills and techniques. The result is heavenly. Honest and clever experimentation that stays true to Greek flavours and philosophy. We dined there 3 times while in the island and everything we had was excellent. What you would call in theory “simple dishes” (like dakos, courgette & cheese, aubergine and tahini etc) will blow your mind. Very well thought, cleverly executed and carefully balanced. Everything was cooked to perfection (which I want to add is rare in Greek cooking 😂). Congratulations to the chef. I truly hope he’ll be there next year! Wine: very decent wine list. House wine is good but in my opinion you should get a bottle if you want to do justice to the food. Dessert: limited options. We tried banoffee and Ravani. In my personal opinion, very average, certainly no match for the main menu which is a shame. To be honest, I would have preferred fresh fruit or the local “koufeto” as a dessert option instead. Service: outstanding! Really friendly staff that seem to care a lot about the restaurant and the customers. Location: top location and the view is magical! If you are in Anafi you...
Read moreI arrived at Margarita’s with my backpack, sunburnt shoulders and a desperate craving for something real. Klisidi welcomed me with the kind of calm only Greek islands know. Margarita is real—she exists—and she’s got that motherly vibe that brings food to your table before you even open your mouth. I sat under the grapevines, still salty from the sea, and just breathed. Nobody’s in a rush here, not even the food. It’s part of the journey. Part of the healing.
It’s right on Klisidi beach, just steps from the water, with views of the Aegean and a few lazy boats floating like an old postcard.
What you can’t miss:
• Homemade keftedes – Juicy meatballs seasoned with all the Greek love. • Fried fish of the day – Fresh from the sea, crisp outside, tender inside. • Authentic Greek salad – Tomato, cucumber, olives and feta just like they should be. • Ouzo at sunset – Because every solo trip deserves a proper toast.
Price for you and your love
You can eat really well here for about €25–30 for two, drinks and sea breeze included.
If you’re in Anafi searching for real flavor and that slow Mediterranean rhythm, this is the place. Margarita’s doesn’t just feed you, it restores you. And that’s worth more...
