Φούρνος Τούντας -Tountas Bakery — Restaurant in Municipality of Andros

My favourite bakery by far. During my summer holidays I visit Tountas bakery to buy their fresh pastries, sandwiches, bread, cakes and the list goes on.. We get fully supplied especially when we have planned trips to remote beaches that we spent the whole day. Being a mother of 3 children it is difficult to satisfy everyone's preferences but this bakery is our go to place that provides us everything we need to enjoy our days at the beach!! The owners are lovely always there to help us and staff very friendly....

You receive a smile before you order. The family is so kind. Established in 1870, this family has owned and operated the bakery for the past 20 years. Together for 30 years this wife and husband and son many make the best Greek🇬🇷 breads and pastries in Batsi. The espresso (Kimbo) is our daily treat along with their reads and roles. I can't remember the last bakery in Greece I've given less than 4*to. We visited a few times. The basics are fine: bread sticks and dakos crusks. The rest is below par, and I can't recommend it. The biscuits are mediocre to poor, and the cakes that are customary on Andros are missing. The spanakopita is easily the worst I've ever had in greece. The service is reluctant. I wish there was an alternative in this town. It's not a Greek tragedy, bit a lost...
