The most stunning setting for a meal - right alongside Batsi port and beach. The menu offered lots of choices, the food was exceptional (with some enormous portions) and the service was nothing short of brilliant.
Our Greek salad comfortably fed two of us and the recommended 1kg pork tomahawk certainly didn’t disappoint. An absolutely massive plate of food, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious too. The pork gyro was equally as tasty and was a larger than expected portion size too.
We enjoyed coffee afterwards and were offered a complimentary yoghurt, fruit and honey too, which was really appreciated.
Highly recommended!
EDITED 13/07/23 Despite scoring this restaurant so highly last year, I had to revisit my score after a disappointing experience earlier this week. Whilst the food was again of a good standard (with the expected price rises), it was disappointing to see that the menu outside the restaurant showed vastly different prices to those inside. In my case, the difference was €4. Bringing this to the attention of restaurant staff, my point perhaps wasn’t understood. Bringing it to the attention of restaurant management, however, it was understood and an apology was offered. But there was no suggestion to revisit the bill (we had after all made a decision to eat there based upon the prices displayed outside) and there was no effort at all made to update the inaccurate pricing either. In fact, 24 hours later, the same board with the same (incorrect) prices was displayed outside. I feel that this is a deliberate tactic to cheat customers out of their hard earned cash. So, with this in mind, I won’t be returning, and I would encourage others to stand firm when the bill lands...
Read moreI must have been the unlicky client on that day, and being a cateter myself, I know that sometimes things go wrong. The pork souvlaki I chose, was probably pre-cooked earlier, and when served, was just too dry, with no savor at all. The red wine, looked to me, as being a rose wine, but after confirming it with the waiter, he responded that, that was their red wine on the menu. Beside the colouring, that wine was of the lowest quality, it was, as if I was drinking water. I have never had in any Greek restaurant, such a low quality wine, really. So, having said all that, I recommend the owners to be attentif to these kind of critics. We, as clients, are contributing to the wellbeing and success of a restaurant. Please be careful on the quality of the food you are availing to your clients. Wishing you a prosperous...
Read moreWe visited the store ourselves and placed our order in person, explaining everything clearly. Unfortunately, when we got home, we realized that the entire order was wrong – not just a small mix-up, but completely off.
The food itself was just average. Nothing particularly tasty or memorable, and certainly not enough to make up for the frustration. The location is nice, but that alone doesn’t compensate for the poor service and lack of attention.
Overall, it felt like a waste of money for a mediocre meal. Definitely not a place we’d choose again unless major...
