Terrific that we made it back to Batsi again for our regular yearly holiday, and to dine at our favourite eating Taverna, Cafe Meze, at the harbour. Read moreService was redicilus. My boyfriend arrived from England and ordered the catch of the day (which is €22), the vegetables were smaller than my fist, and the potatoes were cold. We informed the waiter and he just send them back to reheat them without an apology. That was unecceptable for the price of the dish. On top of that, after finishing with our food, we waited a considerable amount of time for our table to be cleared out and the waiter started clearing the empty table in front of us, of which the other people had just gone. Read moreGreat service and great food. We arrived late in the afternoon (4pm) and had the whole restaurant to ourselves. The Greek salad, tabouli, and mushrooms in a cream sauce were a delicious light lunch for us. We had a Greek coffee at the end and the the owner threw in a little shot on the house before we left. It was delicious and we are now on the hunt to find more of this delicious liqueur. They had a high chair which we greatly appreciated and when the owner saw that our son was teething (chewing on his finger relentlessly) he brought us a hard piece of bread for him to gnaw...
