croissant coffee & more — Restaurant in Municipality of Apokoronas

Wonderful bakery and coffee shop. Family owned, and you can tell they take great pride in their product. We arrived early, before going on our dive excursion at Omega Dive shop. Wonderful way to start our day. I could not find another bakery and coffee shop to match our overall experience anywhere else during our 2 weeks holiday on Crete and Naxos. So glad we stopped in that morning. Also, this area on Crete is so nice and peaceful. Should I return to Crete I will look for a place to stay here....

Very good coffee (we got their capuccino and latte several times during our stay in Almyrida), the pastries are excellent, not too greasy, like we found them at other bakeries in the area), the owners are also very nice and helpful, it was nice to enjoy our coffee and pastries in the shaded area. By far the best croissants you will ever eat. Everything else is absolutely delicious as well, especially the apple pie. All baked goods are freshly made. If you are lucky and they have their home made apricot jam, you should at least buy one jar. The apricots grow on the owner's father's tree. They couple who own Croissant are so nice too.
