If I could rate this establishment ZERO, I would. My experience started off pleasant but quickly turned into something upsetting. I visited with my husband and 3-year-old son, and we were initially greeted by friendly waiters and waitresses with big smiles who were very attentive. Unfortunately, things took a very disappointing turn.
While my son, who is only 3, was dipping his foot in the pool under the supervision of both his parents, an older man with grey hair, presumably a staff member by the bar, continuously gave us dirty looks. Then, he abruptly shouted that my son needed to wear arm bands, despite the fact that he wasn’t even fully in the pool. We were shocked by the rudeness and hostility in his tone. To make matters worse, there was another little girl in the pool without arm bands, yet he said nothing to her.
When my husband challenged him about this unfair treatment, the man became even more rude, and his behavior quickly escalated to something I can only describe as racist. It became clear to us that we were being targeted because of the color of our skin, which was extremely hurtful and unacceptable.
A waitress, who had been kind throughout our visit, witnessed this disgraceful behavior and apologised on his behalf. While we appreciated her gesture, it was infuriating that she had to take responsibility for something so disgusting.
We left immediately and would strongly warn others, especially people of colour, to think twice before visiting this establishment. This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable, and no one should have to experience it.

My child was never left alone in the pool as you have suggested. Both parents were on the pool steps with him at all times, and he did not go near any divider. Your inability to admit this mistake is very troubling.
Even more upsetting is the fact that you have not acknowledged or apologised for your staff's racist attitude towards my family. The so-called safety measures and legal restrictions you mentioned were clearly not applied to the little white girl in the pool, likely because of her race, while we were treated differently. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and disgusting....

We spent the day at Malibu Beach Club and had an amazing time. It’s only about 15 minutes from the port, making it super convenient for cruise travelers. On the way there, we took a taxi (€45 for a car), and on the way back, the staff arranged a van for our family of six for €70 – very helpful and organized.
The club itself is beautiful. We started on the beach lounge chairs (€34 for two) enjoying the clear water, soft sand, and upbeat dance music playing all day. Later in the afternoon, we moved to the pool area, which had an elegant, adult vibe – a perfect way to end the day.
Our waitress Eva was fantastic – friendly, attentive, and ensured we were well taken care of. When we moved to the pool, our new waitress was also excellent. The service overall was outstanding.
The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We had a bruschetta flatbread, a classic Greek salad with fresh feta, banana pancakes, and fried croquettes with crispy potato topping. Everything was fresh and flavorful.
⚠️ Note for families with young children:
While our youngest is 15 and was fine, the pool area definitely has an adult vibe. The staff discouraged young kids from jumping and playing loudly in the pool, so I wouldn’t recommend it for families with small children looking for a kid-friendly pool day.
Overall, Malibu Beach Club exceeded our expectations. Axel, Brooklyn, and Logan all had a great time, and so did Barrie and I. If you’re looking for a high-end beach club close to the port with great food, a beautiful beach, pool, and outstanding service, this is the place. Highly recommended for families with older kids or adult groups looking to relax in style for the...

We've stayed in the Malibu room for 5 nights. Room was very spacious, with big terrace. Room was clean and nicely made. We really appreciated things like mosquito repellents for inside and outside, mosquito nets on balcony door (tho it was a bit torn) and bathroom window, new dish sponge and sponge cloth. There are also books (I guess left by previous guests) that you can read. There's a hair dryer and iron available in the room. Cleaning ladies were great. They were coming every day for taking out trash, changing towels and even shower curtain. We got beach towels and we could use sunbeads in front of our room as well as next to the swimming pool. Thick sunbeds were not included in the price of the room. Water pressure is strong but it's not stable. Sometimes it becomes super strong and cold water can shock you during showers.
Cons: some dishes were not cleaned properly, but were put back in the cabinets. The shower curtain was not long enough so water would come out and flood the bathroom during showers. The biggest con is the fact that there are 2 (free) power plugs in the whole room. I'm not joking. And both of them on really strange and inconvenient places. There are no shelves in the closet, only the area for hangers. WiFi was not stable and often it's very weak. Also the whole house is quite loud. We haven't heard people in other rooms, but doors to rooms, bathrooms and balcony are very very loud, when you flush the toilet sound is also strange and loud and if someone is talking or something is happening in the hallway, forget about sleeping in or having an afternoon nap.
Overall I think the rooms...
