We found this place by accident. We were planning to visit Kanoni and we parked the car nearby. After the walk and some photos with planes We returned to the car and noticed the restaurant. It was just after 5 pm and we were a bit hungry after whole day sightseeing. I checked it at Google and we decided to step in. We were first guests that day. The waiter welcomed us warmly. He told us shortly about different meals so it was easier to make a decision. Food was fantastic! Moussaka was delicious, so was souvlaki! It was the best food I have eaten at Corfu Island! After we finished, we also got a small glass of lime % drink and local sweets. The waiter was very friendly and funny. We really enjoyed this restaurant even though the decorations are simple. You can also buy there some olives and oil. Definately go there if you're at Corfu. Prices are resonable, especially taking into consoderation it's located close to the one of the biggest tourist attractions. The only remark is the restaurant is closed on Sundays. We were dissapointed it was not possible for us to have there our last greek dinner before...
Read moreTo say this was divine is an understatement. Real authentic Greek place with a owner and staff who pride themselves on their food. And the attitude that reflects on their waiting skills is apparent in their beautiful food.We had a lovely guy come up to us at the start and advise us on our order telling us the traditional Greek dishes. He even went as far as putting a spin on his food for my vegetarian girlfriend. The food was amazing, there was a garnish resembling garlic Mayo but healthier that was made of Greek yoghurt that I think made me want to never go back to garlic Mayo again. After the meal I was stuffed and quite tired after flying but the man came out and told us to try his homemade dessert. I think if you needed more convincing that it is the right place then all I can say is I have never seen a person more proud of presenting his dessert. He smiled and told us proudly he had grew the figs in his back garden and omg they were sooo good. The total arrived at 28€ for a beer, bottle of water, 2 main courses and a dessert. 10/10 would recommend if you want the real Greek experience for a...
