MYTHOS-CORFU-BENITSES — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

This was my second visit, and it was every bit as delightful as the first. The restaurant is set in a wonderful location, which adds so much to the overall experience. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed by the friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and well looked after. The food is absolutely fabulous – everything is fresh, full of flavor, and clearly prepared with great care and attention. Portions are generous without compromising on quality, and the presentation is just as impressive as the taste.

What makes this place special is not only the food, but also the atmosphere. There’s a warm and inviting charm that makes you want to linger and enjoy every moment. It’s the kind of restaurant where you leave already looking forward to your next visit.

A personal favourite for my wife and I. Over the past 5 years, we have dined here over 20 times. We are always welcomed back by the family and staff who run it. Usually, we are passing for lunch, but we went back yesterday evening for the full experience. It was very busy at 8:30 pm. Nevertheless, we got a table and settled down to enjoy the evening. Service was excellent and, despite the crowds, nothing seemed delayed. The food was beautifully prepared. We started with courgette fritters and garlic bread followed by Rooster pastitsada and lamb chops from the grill. We washed this down with a perfectly reasonable prosecco. All the time, we were entertained by the staff and made to feel special. Of course, we will be back. It's only 30 minutes...
