Sette Venti — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

I was in the port with my family and went to this place to have a cofee and some snacks. First thing....although this is the port where many tourists enter Corfu Island, the products have only greec helenic tags....I guess they only serve Greek people. Second...everybody was staying in line at the counter to order....I put my family at the table and went to stay in line....after 15 minutes of line...I end up to order...and they ask me if I am sitting...I say yes...and then they tell me to go at the table. The place was empty...there was nobody at the inside tables but us ...nobody asked me within those 15 minutes if I am going to serve there. I told them I was in a hurry and would like to not loose more time and just order there at the counter. They refused and gave me a menu instead... I had 2 kids with me and 40 minutes to have a breakfast and a coffee. I lost 20 of them in line and waiting to be served just so I can be refused serviced at the end...i just took my family and...

I appreciate that the staff helped me charge my phone, which was kind and thoughtful. However, my experience overall was disappointing. I mentioned to my server that I had a bus in 20 minutes, and as the time drew close I reminded them twice that I was getting late. Instead of reassurance or an update, I was simply told to sit down. The food only arrived when I had just 5 minutes left, making it impossible to enjoy—and unfortunately, the quality of the food itself was not good.

This is a great place to wait for your boat to sail, or for a coffee when you are nearby. The bathrooms are very clean and the inside decor is very welcoming. However, the main space is frequently visited by pigeons who may have jumped on your table before you sat (you never know). You will also see a number of pigeons droppings on the floor. The service is fast and efficient and the waiting staff are very pleasant but they did not ask why we left most of our food uneaten. Food is average; I ordered scrambled eggs and I got a broken up omelette instead. It is also...
