Pizza Naos — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

Visited this pizzeria with family following a late flight into Corfu. Despite it being closing time the owner kindly agreed to make some options available to us and took us to our seats.

We opted to order a Margharita, Vegetarian and Pepperoni with a side of chips to share.

The pizzas are stone baked then served in 8 slices.

The freshness of the vegetables is what stood out to me most and you could clearly taste the difference to what is used back home in the UK.

Following a series of mmmms to describe our full bellies the owner and his family sat down with us and spent 20 minutes talking to us about their journey to starting up a pizza shop.

Just as we thought the night was coming to an end we were invited to try and spin pizza dough. It's harder than it looks but it brought laughter and happy faces, a fitting end to a lovely evening family meal.

I would strongly recommend this pizzeria to anyone visiting Corfu, it had only been marked down on atmosphere as it was too late and near closing time.

Service - There’s a reason I’m starting with service rather than food. Exceptional owner who spent 10 minutes explaining us various aspects of Greek mythology and relevance of various foods in culture. He made a customised pizza for us (I love spicy being Indian) and full justice to food was done ✔️

Pizza - Top notch pizza and extraordinary taste 🍕

The owner’s mother was really personal in her service and offered us a special self made yogurt desert (didn’t even charge us )which we brought to the hotel. Had excellent and exceptional taste. 🥹

Absolutely charming place with good pizza and passionate, hard-working, very friendly team. It would be hard not to see how much they love their job.

Starter is a mini garlic bread which is second to none. Crisp, juicy, tasty, hot bread with THAT perfect crust you’ve always dreamed about. Straight out of the oven.

The pizza is quite good. The dough is simply perfect. The topping is fair - I somehow missed that unforgettable taste explosion I started to expect while watching the busy team in the kitchen and absorbing the heavenly smells that were filling the terrace. The portions are not for the faint hearted - yes, you guessed correctly, the pizza is larger than the plate. The beer is ice cold.
