Άλσος Coffee & Food Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

The coffee is good, however be careful, they have double pricing for coffee. If you speak English, they will charge you more…they claim they dont have drink list for coffees, that it is only in Greek and they are not eager to show it…but the truth is that they want to charge you more. First time we insisted that we want to see the list even if it is in Greek as we can easily translate it with google translate app. The espresso cost 1.40 euros there. Later that day we came again and ordered espresso and they wanted to charge us 2.50 euros. I mean the price is still ok but it is not what is stated in the list. We won’t come again as there are nicer and more transparent coffee places...

October 21,2019/Monday/14:49 Throwback in Corfu. The burgers they have here were so good, the staff was friendly, they do live cooking so you can witness how they do your foods and we got a nice view from our table which was at the outside. But, the only thing that I will complain about that we’ve waited for our burgers for almost 30 minutes and we did consume our juices before the foods came so we ended to bring it to go since we don't have time to sit and dine anymore because we still have work. Yet, l give 5 stars though the fact that I was irritated but I do understand and of course that nobody and nothing in this...

I actually just passed by this place and have seen the very positive ratings on Google maps. So I said to myself, why not try a local beer? I sat down, a few moments later the waiter came: very polite, very friendly. I told him I would like to try a local beer 500 ml. He said they have two corfu beers: red and lager. I asked him which of those he rather likes to drink. He said lager but suggested that I should try both and then decide. I did and I chose lager. Additionally to the beer he brought me water and chips, which rounds it up. 5 / 5, more than...
