When we arrived at the restaurant, the host greeted us quite rudely and told us where we could sit. When we sat down there was still a plate from the previous guests there and it took them quite a while to remove it which was definetly okay. The issue was that our server didnt give us a menu, didn't acknowledge us and only after 10 minutes when I went back to the host to ask, wether we had to order at the front or we should wait longer at the table, where the host once again rudely told me to just sit down and wait, did the server bring us the menu. The host did not even give me a chance or properly listened to me telling him we hadn't even recieved a menu. So then like half minute after we got the menu and basically half minute after I asked the host, did the host himself come to take our order which we had to tell him that we did not know what we wanted to order as we just got the menu, for which we only got a snarky and sarcastic answer, in which he said "Well you just came and asked me to take the order" after which he left and we once again spent 15 minutes being ignored and not approached by the server. Mind you we did understand that it was quite busy but we were starting to get angry at the behaviour towards us. After we finally ordered tho we did wait quite a bit too which once again ok it seemed quite busy and the server seemed to be the only one working but when he got us our drinks he put down the glasses and then later the plates with such a force we thought they would break. He did forget one of the drinks which was ok bc it was an extra drink we ordered. Then when he brought out the food he told my cousin something along the lines of "you ordered last but you got it first" whatever that was supposed to mean, because he didnt say it in a way that would show that he "did us a favor" or something. So while we were eating a table of 6 or 7 got seated next to us and the servers demeanor changed completly. He was very friendly towards them to a point where he would go there every half a minute to tell them like jokes or something, which at some point felt super unauthentic and was obviously to gain tips from the customers. And while all this was going on he didnt even spare us a glance even when I called out to him to ask for a check he ignored me and just continued along. And while my cousin went to pay we told them to take out the drink we never recieved which the served seemed to overhear and then jokingly told me like "you understand I forgot" while laughing weirdly.
We ordered a Pork souvlaki to share which did taste quite good. Though due to the poor service and treatment I would not recommend this place especially if you are a...

I visited with my family (wife and 2 kids) after a recommendation. We have been nicely greeted by the waiter and seated (noone offered any help with the pushchair but that's ok) and quickly ordered. But then we were waiting and waiting to get our order served. It was particularly annoying because the owner was not serving on a first come first served basis but only prioritising take aways and letting the store seated people waiting. But come on we were with little kids and patiently waiting for around 25mins when we were seeing More than 15 other customers being served. I then got up and calmly asked why that was happening and the owner snapped away saying they need to prioritise take aways and he threatened to not serve us at all!!! đ That's After 25mins waiting and myself daring to simply ask why, and yes complain. He said that's the practice and he threatened in a very rude way if we didn't like it we could leave. (!) "Amazing" customer service skills... No I said we came to eat.
We were then finally served, the gyros was okish (can find much better) but they made a mistake on serving chicken souvlaki instead of pork souvlaki we had ordered. Actually no, I think they did it on purpose because they had apparently run out of pork souvlaki and they "took the initiative to offer chicken instead". Guess what I didn't complain because I didn't want another encounter... (!) "Amazing" customer service skills... again The waiter was nice but couldn't do anything - he was just an employee observing...
But the owner is unprofessional rude grumpy who has zero customer...
Read moreTo start with, we had delicious wine and fried Saganaki here and that is the only reason why we gave 2 stars. We came here 2x to give it another chance and were disappointed both times with the way we were treated.
We ordered our gyros takeaway because you arenât allowed to eat it at a table. We had also ordered starters to eat at the table beforehand so we assumed that they would inform us when takeaway was ready so we could pay and move outside. They Didnt tell us and they gave us soggy gyros that had been sitting out waiting for us to ask when it would be ready (which is what they said to us). Considering we bought 3 starters, 3 bottles of wine and 4 gyro, this was a disappointing experience. However full honesty we enjoyed the soggy gyros and decided we would give it a go fresh because we thought it would be better. It wasnât. In fact this place ruined our final night in Corfu which is so disheartening and left a sour taste in our mouth. Firstly- they put tomato sauce in our gyro when we asked for traditional gyro, we didnât have a menu so we assumed this was a regular gyro. Final gyro in Greece and it was terrible. The first time we went it didnât have tomato sauce. Inconsistent gyros Secondly they were talking about us poorly not realising we had a friend who understood Greek.
The service was poor, both times the same staff were rude to us, and the first time we tolerated it because the gyro was decent, the second time was disappointing and ruined our final night in corfu . Iâm just upset that this place got our money when there are so many other places in Corfu to give...
