Souvlaki mamma — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

after a very beautiful day and with wonderful people in corfu. I sat down to eat with my fiancée in this place and after the waiter brought the menu, I asked him to ask me something that I didn't understand on the menu. and he turned to me with an arrogance saying "read English because you know English". it was a completely arrogant and angry answer. after a few minutes my fiancée asked him to come and take the order and again the same waiter came back with anger and hatred saying "wait 2 minutes" while he was sitting there doing nothing. we were forced to get up and I went to the cashier I asked if there was a manager or owner so I could tell him what happened. and a polite girl answered me that there is no manager or owner, they are not here and I apologize for what happened. while the waiter stood far away all arrogant and angry not apologizing and just looked at me with anger. I don't know how it could happen that you go to a place to eat and they behave like this. I was shocked by this. This was my very bad experience at this restaurant. I'm not including the whole staff here. It was only the waiter who brought the menu and we asked him to take the order. He doesn't deserve to be in that workplace with the behavior he does. I...

If I could give a 0 stars rating I would - Terrible Service and Misleading Menu

Visited this restaurant at 1pm today and experienced some of the worst service I’ve encountered. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, we waited 10 minutes for a menu without any acknowledgment from staff until we had to ask for one ourselves.

When we tried to order coffee (which is clearly listed on their menu), we were rudely told they don’t serve it because “people who order coffee stay too long without ordering food.” The waiter delivered this message in an aggressive tone without even asking if we planned to order food.

The irony is that the restaurant was practically empty during what should be lunch hours - perhaps their hostile attitude toward customers explains why. If they don’t want to serve items on their menu, they shouldn’t list them. Even worse, they shouldn’t treat potential customers like inconveniences.

We left immediately and found much better service elsewhere. Save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else in Corfu. With service this poor, it’s no wonder the place...

The attempt to scam us hide all the glow of the food!!! Don't come to this restaurant! Until the moment of the bill, everything was perfect, but from then on, just a tourist trap! Before sitting I already said that I only had a card and the waiter accepted. When I went to pay the bill, which was to give €34, it was €43. Then I went to see why it had given that price. He promptly wrote the price of each thing and included a water (which I didn't drink). Soon he took out the water and write €41.50. I sum the bill and it was €39.50, not €41,50. He took on the “error” and already angrily changed the value to €39.50. Then I went to see why it was still wrong: it was charged €1 more for each beer and also €3 for the “fork”. I paid this amount to forget about it, but I don't recommend it to anyone to come to this place!!! Although it is common to pay for the “fork” in Corfu, other restaurants charge €1 for the couple.
