KRITIKOS — Local services in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

Lovely location and seating, but do not expect good service. Only 2 waiters, we had to ask twice for a drink, and twice for menus. When we finally had our order taken only one of the four dishes ordered arrived, 2 items of the 8 food items on the near plate fell onto the waiters tray and were not replaced. As it was a hot meal I started eating and finished my meal. An hour after arriving I had to go into the restaurant to speak to the manager (who spoke no English). I was told (by the waitress who interpreted) there were ‘too many orders’. Two more meals finally arrived but my daughters bruschetta - probably the easiest dish to prepare did not turn up at all. I asked the waitress again and was told if she wanted her meal we would have to wait another 10 minutes or more. I would not advise going, even though the food that did arrive was good quality. Presumably the manager is not able to read...

Atmosphere was unwelcoming.

Staff are incredibly rude, one waitress spent more time kissing her boyfriend than doing her job.

My food came 10 minutes before my partners food, there was no communication to say if his was on its way or not.

The food in total was average, the beef I had was cold and dry but the orzo was nice. My partner ordered a “Pork Gyros” to which the waitress replied “chicken or beef” and when asked if they do pork she said yes.

Then we came to pay the bill, we had no receipt to detail how much it was, just told to go inside as we were paying by card. I went inside as instructed to the be shouted at by another staff member who pointed in my face and had the worst customer service out of them...

We were pleasantly surprised by this place from our first visit, so much so that we came back the next day for breakfast 😊. We were offered free water even though we hadn’t ordered much at first 💧. With the beer, we also got some delicious chips on the house 🍻🍟. The waitresses were friendly, smiling, full of positive energy, and even complimented my outfit 😊. We really appreciated that they also gave a bottle of water to a street performer who stopped near the tables — such a kind gesture. The next day, the waitress on duty was a bit clumsy, but you could tell she was trying her best. The English breakfast was tasty and generous — I couldn’t even finish it! 🍳 However, the sausages...
