Absolute ripoff - avoid ! We knew the prices were slightly higher than the other waterfront restaurants but expected that to be reflected in the door and the service - we were so disappointed . The owner was immediately irritated when we ordered tuna salads and a bottle of water and also a chicken plate for our kids to share - he was even more irritated when I didn’t order alcohol. He suggested tatziki for each of us which in our experience is a side / dip style dish - to our amazement when we got the Eur 95 bill the tatsiki made up eur 20 of the bill which was crazy given they were 4 tiny saucer sized servings ! The tuna salads were also tiny. As many of the other reviews stated here - they would only take card with a Eur 5 fee even though it was advertised on their wall as Eur 3. We had to pay cash anyway in the end as their card machine was broken. This was the low point of our holiday - all of the other beach front restaurant were lovely so please go to them and not this...

Party of five people
The extortionate prices were written down, however we were hungry and were hoping for good quality food - oh no my friends. big boss had big ideas in store for us. A dark shadow was cast over our beautiful day at kontogialos beach, smacking down the bill of 64€!! for 2 chip portions, 1 water, bread and a salad.
The boss added an extra tzatziki portion without us asking - seems like this is his tactic for people who don’t want to spend too much money.
Quality of food? Absolute filth…and not in a good way. An obscene smack in the face to the sacrosanct tzatziki, Greek salad and chips we had experienced on Corfu island. The chips were “fresh frozen”, the salad had grated carrot and white onions? and the tzatziki was average.
The only redeeming feature of this place was the view, which you can get on the beach for free.

Read moreFood was good. However, the prices of food and the upsell by the owner was not great. This was unfortunately our first restaurant in Corfu over our 4 days visit, so we had not fully gauged the local rates. By far the most expensive and mediocre meal we had during our stay. Costing 80 euro for 2 people ordering standard lunch and drinks. The waiter / owner kept forcing additional items for us to 'try', of what was already overpriced food. View is nice, and can't complain about the food. But the experience felt a bit off, and couldn't recommend. Go further up the beach to the resort type restaurants and bars. Significantly better priced and...
