This place is genuinely terrible. I really wanted to like the restaurant as it’s the only one on this side of Paleokastritsa with a view from above, but now it makes sense why it’s also the only place that was empty on a weekend night.
The waitress was ridiculously rude, rolling her eyes as soon as I came in and then making annoyed “tsk” sounds when I was spoke to her in Greek. She then switched to English but her English was terrible. I asked her where she was from (Ukraine), to which I replied “oh wow!” And she gave the most annoyed sigh and clarified that she came 20 years ago, not now. Umm ok.
When I asked for tap water, she said they didn’t have any, but later brought out a jug of water “just for me”. It tasted disgusting; I can only assume she scooped it straight from the toilet as she stated they didn’t have tap water. The lamb fillets were worse than the ones my poorly resourced hospital canteen serves; I can only imagine she pushed me to that choice because they had expired lamb they wanted to make a nice €30 off of.

The server was happy and polite but suuuuper stressed and it seemed to affect the rest of the staff... Because they seemed stressed too. Got us as guests stressed aswell seeing the waitress running (!) around with drinks, orders and stuff that was forgotten. The place was almost full but they couldn't handle the pressure it seemed, they were 4 chefs and 1 waitress and there was a 30-40 minute wait for the food. Seemed like they're all new to the job?
The shrimps I got had 2 different seasoning, the half peeled ones I ate first because they were not good. There was no sauce/tzaziki/aïoli to my dish which was a bummer. The fries were very dry and tasteless.
There are better...
Read moreWe went to this place as we saw it on our way to the beach, gave it a try as we were looking for nice Greek food. The grilled octopus and the stuffed calamari are something else, very tasty, loved it. We also had fried anchovies, baked feta, prawns saganaki and Greek salad, everything was cooked with a specific greek note, just amazing. The staff was very friendly and energetic, we entered literally last 30min before closing but they still took our order and served with a genuine pleasure. The lady that served us (Valeria), very nice and polite, and the guy that cooked the grilled dishes (Nikos) is very entertaining and friendly.
I don’t understand people that are going to Greece and ordering burger in a traditional Greek food restaurant then...
