We had the first meal of our Cretan holiday in the Corinne Star. We had arrived After 10pm, but they were happy to serve us, and stayed open! I had a Corinne Salad, the most delicious salad I’ve ever tasted: advocados, zucchini, baby salad leaves, sweet little tomatoes, with dried figs, and a gorgeous dressing, all topped off with a genorous smattering of Parmesan shavings. The fabulous view of the Mediterranean , less than 20 m away, and the wonderful seawater pool, lit up, reflecting the beach umbrellas on the jetty, all added to the wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. A couple of nights later we sat at our table, and watched the sunset while we ate. On this occasion I asked for a shrimp advocados salad. It was so beautiful I had to take a photo before I ate it: huge shrimp tails atop two timers of the salad, with slices of advocados swirling from one mound to the other, all presented on a slate. I could taste the sea on every mouthful of finely diced shrimp, tomato, advocados, baby leaves and zucchini. My husband had stifado, a Greek slow-cooked beef stew, which was also gorgeous. We had breakfast on 2 occasions during our stay, and also hD dinner delivered to our apartment door! The staff were lovely people, the service was flawless, and if you’re in the Chania/Kalamaki area, you have to treat yourself to a meal here. You will be glad you did, and so will your wallet! Five stars, through and...

One of the best meals we have had during our visit.

This restaurant is part of an apartment complex. We were not staying but able to visit the restaurant and I am so glad we did.

My husband and me shared everything we ordered which was very easy to do. We ordered the tuna cerviche style, the grilled Dorado, the stuffed vegetables and a banoffee pie. I think the Dorado is the best fish we have ever eaten. We were blown away by the delicious flavour from the grill and how succulent the fish was. We were already wondering if we should book the restaurant again for our last night because it was absolutely amazing. Everything else was also very good. No complaints at all on the food. The waiters also helped us to pick a local wine which was lovely.

We got there to watch the sunset and it was very beautiful. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere.

We did book a table a couple of hours before which seemed to be fine for mid-week. Not sure I would risk just turning up at the weekend as I have a feeling they will be even busier!

Honestly a great restaurant, all of the food was a good price and it was...

Lovely family owned restaurant within the great Corinna Mare Hotel resort. We really loved it. Great breakfast buffet with everything you could ask for. A lot of home-made dishes like strawberry jam, lemonade or own grown fruits and veggies from the owner Yannis' farm. Compared to all other breakfast spots I've seen in the surrounding the prices here were almost ridiculous cheap... 8€ (June 2018) for an all you can eat&drink fresh hot&cold, sweet&savoury buffet. For the same prices you could get one coffee, one juice and a croissant with jelly at other spots around.

If you wanna go a bit nuts, reserve the lobster dinner one or two days in advance. Served with tomato-feta pasta, clams AND shrimps. . So much worth the price, so yummy prepared by the owner's wife, and such a great service by the two sons, the two coolest Greek guys you can find, and their colleague, waitering all day long for your pleasure.

Actually I didn't want to write the review, because I am afraid the place gets even more popular after. But as a promised favor to Yannis, it was...

We were a group of 5 visitors looking for a dinner reservation (mid Sept) in Chania, and stumbled upon this gem. Everything from the food, to the service, to the location exceeded our expectations. The restaurant is located at a hotel, and on the patio area near the pool- but just on the water so you can hear the beach waves. You have to walk through the hotel entrance or a pathway to get there. Not pictured was the delicious starters of zucchini garlic chips, and complimentary raki shots (anise-flavoured, and typical to Crete as opposed to ouzo) which are dangerous after a few too many (40-50% alc.)!! The staff were really attentive, despite every table being occupied. We travelled during the pandemic this year (part of the UK airbridges) so the Greek islands have had a huge dip in tourism. We were so happy to be able to support the local economy whilst keeping safe distances and enjoying ourselves responsibly.
