The reason this restaurant receives one star from us is due to several factors.
When we arrived, it took 10 minutes before we were given two menus – even though we were a group of ten people. We had to get the rest ourselves, and already at that point it became clear that this might not be the kind of restaurant that values the small details that make an experience great.
It took about 30 minutes before we had to ask to place our order. Then another 15 minutes passed before we could actually order, as the waitstaff said the manager had to take the order.
It took a further 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive, and nearly 50 minutes before the adults received their main courses. The children were served their pizza about 20 minutes before the adults, which resulted in a disorganized and somewhat chaotic dinner.
Several of us ordered meat and were served pork tenderloin that was raw in the middle. We alerted the staff, but received no response, no adjustment to the bill, and no offer of any alternative.
The way the entire experience unfolded tells us this is unlikely to have been a one-off incident.

Read moreSiroccos sits on the edge of Glaros Beach. In the evening, it seems as if the water is part of the restaurant and helps to create the great ambience you will experience here!
The food was great and the portions were large. We tried the stuffed grape leaves, stuffed zucchini flowers, spaghetti Bolognese, pasta with lobster, and stifado (beef stew). All dishes were great for our family of four. After dinner, we were given a platter of vanilla ice cream and baklava. What an amazing finish to our meal! But to top that off, they brought us a small carafe of raki which equated to nearly three shots each for two people!
The staff was friendly and attentive. We never had a shortage of help when we needed something!
On the night that we visited, there was live music. It was traditional Greek with accoustical instruments (guitar and bouzouki). That was very special and if you have the opportunity, find Vasilis Klapakis and enjoy the performance. You...
Read moreShares 1st place as Best Restaurant in Agii Apostoli my opinion(along with Oregano's wood owen pizza)! My favourite is the huuuge grilled chicken fillet, and it is a relief to be served baked potatoes and grilled vegetables instead of the usual fries. Big plus: bernaise sauce is on the menu! I also recommend the spaghetti bolognese, very tasteful. Great place that offers shade and beautiful sunset view. Very attentative and quick waiters, who are all very polite. Did not wait long for either food nor the check. Middle priced restaurant. Paid 42 euros for 2 chicken fillets, 1 beer and 1 coke. We always get melons and raki before presented w the check. Note that (wet and somewhat sandy) people from the beach might pass through the restaurant. Not an issue though. This is our 5th summer in Agii Apostoli, we always come back to dine here. Only drawback for me is no cushions in the chairs, plastic funiture is pretty uncomfy...
