Taverna Rokka — Restaurant in Municipality of Chania

Update: visited again on our holiday this year as we've had some great meals here in the past. The beef giouvetsi was delicious and enormous. Took half of it back to the apartment and enjoyed it again for lunch the next day. My son enjoyed the banter with the waiters who were all so friendly. Great restaurant.

I echo all the comments about delicious authentic food, huge portions, great service and lovely surroundings. We visited 12 years ago and remembered the place and returned for another lovely meal. Probably the best of our holiday. Had a great evening here. Thank you.

I went here today with my family and we were very pleased with our experience. From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with just the right balance of cozy and classy. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve.

We ordered several dishes to share, and every single one was a hit. The flavors were bold and perfectly balanced, the presentation was beautiful, and you could tell everything was made with fresh, high-quality ingredients.

This is my first time in Greece, and this is already the third restaurant I have visited. I can confidently say that it is one of the most delicious places I have ever been to. The other restaurants I tried before were high-class and quite expensive, but none of them gave me such rich flavors and true enjoyment.

I sincerely recommend taking a 5–7 minute walk to get here and experience the kind of food pleasure you may have been missing for a long time.
