El Greco Studios — Hotel in Municipality of Chania

We stayed in El Greco Studio for around twelve days in September and without hesitation, I can say it was an amazing time. When we arrived, the host offered us a glass of juice, water, and had a conversation with us. He told us what should we visit, where is everything and how to prepare for each trip. He also gave us a map and marked all the places which were worth visiting! The apartment was also excellent. Everything was clean and cosy. The kitchen was fully furnished with all the necessities. There was a lady which cleaned our room every day and asked if we need anything. The area is safe and quiet and the apartment is located near the beach.

Each day when we got back to the apartment and were tired after a whole day of exploring, the host and his family and friends greeted us and asked where we were and how did we like it. They also invited us to spent time with them, like we felt like we knew each other for ages!

I can’t find the smallest thing which would be negative. I can 100% recommend that place and assure you that if we ever come back to Crete, we will stay in El Greco...

We had the pleasure of spending two weeks in Agia Marina at El Greco Studios with Yannis and his lovely, small family. The flat was in a small family-run aparthotel with a shared outdoor living and cooking area in the entrance. But we also had our own terrace with seating and a kitchen that was fully equipped except for hot plates.

The hospitality of the hosts was particularly noteworthy. We were able to get all kinds of tips on things do from them and always received direct help when we had a concern. In the cosy outdoor living room we had a lot of nice talks and also enjoyed barbecues and drinks together several times. It is also possible to get together with other guests, cook there on your own and meet with the host family. Of course, you can also stay on your own but then you probably miss out on something. The host and his family was super nice to us. After arriving the father prepared a fresh Greek salad for us, everything was from their own garden.
