Afroditi Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Chersonissos

I don't like their pushiness. No "hello" when you enter. Very rude staff with almost no understanding of english, so making a simplest order was very difficult to do with them. High prices (but equal to other ones near it, so ok). I advise you not to go here, please avoid this place, people need to learn to be more gentle with customers who are actually paying them for service. The view is great. Food was good. European Union people will swallow everything, and smile and say "oh so nice", but this is a view from a Serbian who is a little bit more picky, and into details. Decide for yourself, but be warned. Definitely NOT recommended. I will not return...

Very many seaside restaurants have a shark on the run. They try to coax you inside slowly, relying on your lack of desire for confrontation and they get upset if you order only one plate of food without drinks. The portions for these restaurants are generally very small, the free water Greek hospitality is even lost in these places so they don't reflect anything but touristic traps.

The only reason I give it 2 stars instead of one is that at least you have a great view while you ponder where you should eat next to make sure you won't be...

Placed in the middle of 'running the gauntlet' of the sea front, this is a real find. Lovely traditional food to die for, and at a knock down price. Stick to the traditional Greek dishes and you can't go wrong. Lovely setting looking out over the harbour. Update 2 years later, returned.
