Antami Restaurant(Αντάμι) — Restaurant in Municipality of Chersonissos

We were lucky to get a dinner table at Antami without a reservation — we didn’t know it was required in advance! And now we fully understand why: it’s a wonderful place and absolutely worth the visit.

Although we went for burgers, risotto, and pasta instead of traditional Greek food, everything was incredibly tasty — some of the best dishes we’ve had in Greece this summer! Antami Burgers for the win!!

The restaurant also offers a stunning view over the Hersonissos harbor and the Aegean Sea, which made the evening even more special.

Raki and fresh fruit were offered on the house (of course!), and even the coffee was great — which is not always easy to find in Greece! ☕️

Highly recommended — definitely worth coming from a nearby town just to eat here!

Delicious food and great service! To start we shared the Cretan salad and Chicken Tigania (chicken fried in dark beer sauce with peppers). The salad was fresh and full of flavour, and the chicken cooked perfectly; the sauce it was in was like a rich flavoursome gravy and was morish in itself. I had the braised beef as my main, the chunks of beef were cooked perfectly and this was served with skiufixta pasta (and topped with grated local cheese), all very tasty and good portion sizes. Partner had the chicken thigh with fried potatoes, which was very good and again a good portion size. Afterwards we were brought some complimentary 'fire water' and sliced watermelon. We cannot compliment this place enough! Our 2 weeks in Piskopiano, Crete we needed somewhere that did an English breakfast, the only thing my hubby won’t do without on holiday. We had tried a couple of places but Antami came up trumps and ended up there nearly all our mornings. The staff are so friendly, nice, kind and have great sense of humours. Delisa and her staff, sorry we didn’t get your names, made us feel so welcome and chilled. Our son had joined us for second week and my Mum lives in Crete so we took them to Antami for an evening meal and they did not disappoint.
