Atrium Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Chersonissos

A tale of two meals. We booked both times. Went Sunday evening after the recommendation of a local person. We tried some sashimi & ordered the rest off the main menu. Service & attention to detail was outstanding, food was delicious. So we booked for our final meal of the holiday…oh dear! Unfortunately the service was lacking in comparison to our first experience, albeit still good when we caught staff’s attention. The disaster was the sushi - in that we didn’t get any. After being seated for over an hour we still hadn’t received our sushi (which we’d ordered as a starter). There were other murmurings around the restaurant with other customers frustrated. Other people were being seated & told sushi would be at least an hour, but we and others had not been told this. When we asked how long it might be they were unsure & as a result we cancelled our starter & asked for the mains to come. These came relatively quickly & were gorgeous, but it was such a shame that the first part of the night had spoilt what we’d hoped was going to be a brilliant last meal. I imagine if you’d just ordered off the main menu it would generally have been fine, but they probably need to consider how they’ll manage busy spells and orders for sushi (for what was some of the nicest sushi we’ve had). Updated review August '25: Visited again last night with high expectations and was looking forward to an indulgence, but it didn't materialise. The male waiter who took out orders was nice and polite but, I think, stretched too thin and not supported by the other staff milling around.

I had to go looking for a waiter for a second round of drinks, and then again go looking for the bill. Between this, when we'd all finished in our party of 8 we waited ages for the plates to be cleared.

It's a shame because a) if they'd been more attentive the bill would have been much higher - we're thirsty people 😆 and b) the food itself was superb.

Ah well. Rating reflect last night and not our amazing 2023 visit.

October '23: Superb restaurant. Visited last night, family of four. Starters of stuffed mushrooms and meatballs were both great. Mains of stuffed chicken, risotto Milanese, chicken linguine and the kids burger (which was very thick and brilliant quality) were all superb.

Chocolate sphere for dessert was very theatric and tasty and the cocktails were super too. The best and smoothest negroni I've ever had.

Probably one of the best meals I've ever had to be honest, and service was efficient and friendly too.

Such an amazing and beautiful place! This is a MUST visit. Stunning place, in the perfect location with the most loveliest staff to imagine. They’ve made the place look beautiful with real trees, hanging fruits and lovely lights & background music. All of the food is expectational and to very high quality standards, with a great drinks menu with so much to choose from. We visited for breakfast, lunch and many dinners, every meal we had was absolutely delicious. We had to keep going back as it was such an amazing experience.

Not only is it such a beautiful place, but the staff members are so super friendly and welcoming, with the most promptest service. They made it so special for us all. A super special mention about Dana who was absolutely wonderful and made our experience so surreal.

We went there that many times our orders were remembered! There is so much to choose from. Everything was so well presented, it was all just so perfect. A big shout out to the whole team who all really made our visits so expectational and so special.
