China Royal — Restaurant in Municipality of Chersonissos

That was very bad experience in this "restaurant". We waited for our food for almost an hour, even though we were alone in the restaurant and when the new people came, they got the food faster than we did. That's not normal. Ok, finally starving I get my main course, which was "beef masala" and I couldn't believe what I saw on my plate: 5 very small pieces of meat in sauce. Really? It took you an hour to cook five cuts of meat???? And worst of all, those five pieces of meat were so dry that I could barely swallow them. I also doubted that it was beef, so I called the waitress to ask about that and you won't believe it, she just took my fork and knife and just cut through one piece of meat claiming it was indeed beef.. Of course, I was very hungry, so I ate it anyway. After everything, when the waitress came and asked if the food was tasty, we said everything that was bad and she just collected the dishes and left without even apologizing. When another waiter came, he just offered us a glass of coca cola for free, but also failed to apologize. P.S. my girlfriend chicken had a weird aftertaste. We visited for dinner and think it’s alright - we wouldn’t return again. The staff was welcoming and smiling 👍🏻 There were a few things we didn’t like too much tho: (1) I ordered Babi Pangang which I remember usually comes in a sweet and sour sauce and some vegetable (mostly sprouts or Brokkoli). Sadly, here this dish came with none and the sauce was a bit too salty. I would guess that too much soy sauce is added to this version of the sauce - maybe try light soy sauce for a better balance. The meat was nice but lacked some vegetable. (2) no dish comes with rice and you have to order it separately (which is fine). However, charging 3,50€ for a bowl of plain rice quickly makes your main dish a bit pricey compared to what other restaurants charge for a main. (3) my friend ordered sichuan chicken and his portion was much smaller than mine despite the same price. Felt a bit weird.

I hope the restaurant takes this is constructive feedback and improve their menu....

Best recommendation! Not only does this property look really good, everything you would expect from Asian food (In the positive sense) is there!

The food is exceptionally great! Very large selection and with a natural kitchen and great staff. The prices are cheap compared to many others in the area and very tasty! I ate there 3 times in one week and even my friend, who doesn't like Asian food, loved it. You get your fill and have a very large selection with big portions.

The atmosphere created by the friendly staff gives you a homely feeling. Above all, we had a nice night there before we left.

To the staff: If you are reading this, thank you again for everything! It was one of our highlights and we would never forget it :D
