A Slice of Italy in the Heart of Malia
When it comes to authentic Italian pizza and pasta, this restaurant is a must-visit in Malia. The cuisine is so genuine, it's easy to forget you're in Greece and not on a bustling street in Rome or Naples.
The pizza, with its crisp edge and beautifully fluffy center, is topped with fresh, high-quality ingredients that create a delightful harmony of flavors. The pasta is cooked to perfect al dente and is accompanied by homemade sauces that spread an enticing aroma and are a treat to the palate.
Perfection, of course, is hard to come by. The street noise can sometimes be a bit intrusive, but this minor detail does nothing to undermine the quality of the restaurant. Instead, it adds a certain romantic charm - a little echo of the busy streets of Italy. 😂
Another slight drawback could be the waiting times. However, I assure you, the wait is well worth it as the food is of exceptional quality.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit. Despite small inconveniences, it offers a unique Italian dining experience that is...
Read moreEverything about this restaurant is brilliant. Me and my partner had a bottle of rose sweet bubbly wine with this monster for a starter only €18!! The amount on the platter surely came to be cheaper than buying the same items at any supermarket here in the UK! 😂 Plus the difference in quality is unquestionable. Then had two decent size mains (carbonara & cacio e pepe) which I highly recommend. Most likely the best carbonara I have ever tried. And I do make and buy lots of carbonaras! Then the owner gave us a shot of a strong traditional local spirit (grapa) as a finish off gift! The bill came to no more than €55 and I was pleasantly shocked and confused because I would of paid 3 times that price without being surprised in the slightest. I highly highly recommend visiting this place. Anyone around the Heraklion-Sisi area in Crete should definitely go to Malia just...
