Le Palme — Hotel in Municipality of Chersonissos

Me and my friend have just come back from here. The hotel was lovely and clean and the beds and pillows are the best I’ve ever slept on! So comfy. We met the English lady that runs the bar and she is so friendly and chatty, she also makes a lovely pina colada, she made us feel so welcome from day one! I wish I got her name but she is a star! ||My only real complain with the hotel is that you have to pay for aircon in your room it’s 7 euro a night to have it in your room. The other thing that is not ideal tho not a fault of the hotel is your transfer bus drops you off a 10 minute walk away from the hotel. They don’t tell you that when you get off the bus they say ‘it’s just around the corner’ this is a lie, it is quite the trek and when you get dropped off at midnight and have to walk down the strip with your suitcase it’s not ideal, but like I say the hotel is not at fault for this. ||The hotel is situated on the strip right at the top so If you want to go to the bars you turn left when you come out and you’re on the strip. Although it is on the strip there is no noise at all from bars or people partying, it’s lovely and quiet which is great! ||There is a lovely Chinese/Indian restaurant opposite that do 3 courses for 19 euro and it is delicious! Would highly recommend. If you leave the hotel and go right there is a bar called ‘STREET’ it is a lovely family ran bar that do the best cocktails I’ve ever had! ||There is a large supermarket about 3 minutes right from the hotel that sells everything you could need and there is lots of little shops close by too. ||The beach is about a 30 minute walk left from the hotel and it is beautiful, slightly overcrowded with sun loungers but it’s very nice and worth visiting. ||I would recommend going to reflex bar it has a revolving dance floor and full of 80’s music and a great atmosphere, the people that work there are so friendly and can’t do enough for you, they also do a lively cheeky vimto. ||We will defo be returning next year as it was a...

I am a big believer in you get what you pay for. If I could give stars for staff then Angela who runs the bar/cafe would get five 🌟 she is such a credit to the place and a lovely lady. She was so friendly and easy to talk to and her dinks/food was spot on! The bar area was exceptional clean also. |Maria was also nice and helpful.|The apartment we had was very spacious and adequately clean, ground floor so spacious terrace too. The bathroom was a big let down and needs a thorough make over as does the kitchenette area! With a little love and tlc these apartments could be so much better. |The pool area was ok although the pools were very cold.|The location is superb. Just to the right of the the apartments is the Street Bar and I would highly recommend this place. The food everywhere was delicious. |If it’s beauty and luxury you want then please avoid booking but if you can close your eyes to a few things and want somewhere cheap to stay then this is the place. |All in all we had a good weeks holiday and will definitely return to Malia (but will choose a different hotel/apartment to stay in.).|We could list things that need immediate improvement but are not going to, like I said it was a cheap break, and you get what...

Just got back from our 10day holiday. There was only 2 of us and we had such an amazing time that we are planning to visit again in the future! As a place that is right off the strip I can say that this is the best apartment I have visited on any party island I have been to. Location wise it is just off the strip, the pool/bar is across the road and there are many shops and restaurants nearby. The room itself was spacious, modern and very clean and the cleaner would come round every 2 days to see if we needed our room cleaned. All the staff were friendly and always had a smile on their faces and would say hello everytime they saw us (We will miss Poppy over at the bar). We had a late flight home which the staff let us pay the extra for the late checkout which was sorted quickly. The atmosphere in the apartment was the best as there weren’t too many apartments in the block allowing us to make friends with the other people staying there and no excessive noise.
