I had my very first Greek gyros at Fire and Ice, and it was an experience I’ll never forget. Nik the Greek, as we came to know him—the owner—was the absolute pinnacle of hospitality. From the moment we walked in, he welcomed us like old friends, taking shots of raki with us, laughing, chatting, and making us feel truly at home.

His warmth and character made every visit special, and we found ourselves coming back every single day just to soak up the vibe and enjoy the best gyros in Malia. Nik’s passion and friendliness made Fire and Ice more than just a restaurant—it felt like a family gathering.

On our first day in Malia, we found this place by chance. The gyros were so perfect, it was love at first glance. We came back three more times, the flavor was that Devine, Without a doubt, Fire & Ice serves the best gyro in Greek PARADISE!!!

Nick, the gracious owner, greeted us with cheer. After every meal, poured raki shots of clear. One late night we dined, left a photo by mistake. Nick rode his moped up and down the strip, searching until he found us.

So when we’re back in Crete, there’s no need to think twice, we’ll head straight to Nick and his gyros at Fire & Ice.

Just had the gyros so I can’t really review the rest of the food but if you’re in Greece you may as well eat the gyros. Welcoming owners and and amazing service the gyros is fresh and delicious had fun eating there each time and when it was time to go back home the owner raised a glass with us and gave us hugs before we left would recommend this...
