Krḗtikas — Restaurant in Municipality of Chersonissos

This restaurant is a scam. It’s the lowest we’ve been to so far in Crete, and we have been in quite a few. We firstly, ordered the food, which pretty much everything was either swimming in water or oil. We were about 8 people, the food came out about an hour late, the waiters are completely useless and half asleep. And the main thing when you go, please be aware of this! The owner. He acts to be very friendly at first, and then brings you different alcohols he has for you to try, pretends to drink and have fun himself , just so he gets you to start drinking whatever he introduces to you, whether it’s alcohol or food. He then proceeds to add whatever he gives you, which you don’t ask for or order, on the bill, which can go up to by 50euros. We ended up paying 3 times more that what we actually should’ve payed, and when we asked for a receipt ‘apparently everything was on his phone’ . Please think twice before...

Last year we came here a few times and there was another lady working there in the kitchen and she did the service as well and she was just lovely and the food was super good. But yesterday we came and a younger girl worked in the kitchen it was way less good the fries were super soft not baked long enough. When we were gonna pay we had to wait almost 10 minutes for them to make the bill even tho we were the only ones there and it felt a bit sketchy. When we checked we saw they asekd for a extra 5 euros we ask why and they say its for the service they gave us... Thats weird not a single restaurant does that here and even tho the service wasn't that good we would have give a tip stil, but if they go put it on the bill like that we are not gonna give it anymore...

Σ' ένα φίλο που γύρισε για λίγες μέρες απ' τα ξένα ήρθε η ιδέα να επισκεφτούμε αυτό το ρακάδικο. Κλασικό τουριστικοφολκλόρ ντιζάιν με βούργιες και κεντήματα που τραβάει τους ξενομπάτηδες.

Δεν θα πολυεπεκταθώ στο σέρβις, γενικά ήταν ό,τι να 'ναι.

Ας πάμε στα πιάτα: κατ' αρχάς μας ήρθε το εικονιζόμενο μαγευτικό πανέρι με μπαγίατικα και μουχλιασμένα ψωμιά. Τους κάναμε απλά παρατήρηση (αν δεν ήταν η παρέα, εγώ θα 'φευγα όπως είμαι), τους είπαμε δεν θέλουμε άλλο, έφεραν χίλιες δικαιολογίες, το πήραν πίσω κι έφεραν χωρίς να το ζητήσουμε ένα πανέρι μόνο με παξιμάδια. τζατζίκι των 5 € σε πιατάκι μικρότερο απ' το χέρι μου. συκώτι -που δεν ήταν μόνο συκώτι, είχε και πνευμόνια- ξαναζεσταμένο. το βραστό επίσης σκληρό, με πολλά λίπια, ποιος ξέρει πόσο χρονών ήταν το ζώο. οι χοχλιοί την πάλευαν. ρακή κακιά.

Μετά το κάζο του ψωμιού, ο ιδιοκτήτης μας "κέρασε" ρακή δική του, αίγα κοκκινιστή, πιταράκια. Να σημειωθεί ότι αυτά τα τελευταία ποιοτικά ήταν εμφανώς ανώτερα απ' τα παραπάνω. Τώρα πώς ο λογαριασμός κατέληξε 90 € δεν θα το μάθω ποτέ και δεν μ' ενδιαφέρει, τα πλήρωσε ένας απ' την παρέα γιατί τον διασκέδαζε ο ιδιοκτήτης και το μαγαζί μετά τα μεσάνυχτα το είχε γυρίσει στα σκυλάδικα και τις βότκες. Μάλιστα, αφού τα 'χε πιεί, αποφάσισε να κάτσει μαζί μας και ν' αρχίσει να τρώει σαρδέλες κονσέρβας για να έρθει στα ίσια του.
