I had the pleasure of visiting the Olea Dining restaurant with my partner and I must say that this evening exceeded all our expectations. From the very first moment it was clear that we had discovered a real gem of a restaurant.

Every dish we ordered was an absolute work of art. The chef here has perfected the art of balancing flavours - every bite was a harmonious symphony for the taste buds. There is no doubt that there is someone in the kitchen who truly understands his craft and puts passion into it.

The setting of the restaurant creates the perfect backdrop for a gourmet experience. The elegant, yet cosy interior with its thoughtful details underlines the luxurious character of the establishment without appearing contrived. The atmosphere is simply one that makes you feel special but relaxed at the same time.

The absolute highlight of the evening was the restaurant staff. The service was not only professional to the last detail, but also incredibly entertaining. Their witty remarks and personal approach perfectly lightened the formal setting and created an unforgettable atmosphere. A Truly Exceptional Dining Experience – Five Stars Without Question!!!

Value for money, this place was top-tier. We began with freshly baked bread, accompanied by a foamed fish roe and olives—all incredibly flavourful and a perfect start to the evening.

We shared a starter: the crispy creation of crispy cretan gruyere cheese (as seen in the photo), which was simply wonderful—light, inventive, and delicious.

For mains, we had the Chilopites, a delightful beef and mushroom pasta, and the Pichania souvlaki, served with a silky celeriac purée and crispy country potatoes. Both dishes were exceptional—some of the best meat we've ever tasted... tender and melt-in-your-mouth. The portions were generous, so come hungry!

After ordering a second drink, we were surprised with complimentary mini Madeira-style cakes—small, sweet, and very tasty.

The service was outstanding. Our waiter was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. We arrived at 8 PM to a quiet setting, but the restaurant gradually filled with other diners, creating a warm and lively atmosphere. The ambiance was lovely—peaceful and elegant, just a short 10-minute walk from the busier, more touristy strip of restaurants.

If you're staying nearby, make the effort to visit this gem. We were blown away by the hospitality, the setting, the aesthetics, and above all, the food. We’re currently staying at Deos Luxury Suites, where Olea Dining is located, and after wandering into the nearby village with its many tempting dining options, we decided to give Olea a try. The beautiful setting and appealing menu instantly drew us in — and we’re so glad they did!

We were surprised to find so few people dining, as we half expected that such a stunning restaurant would require a reservation. The setting is simply perfect — overlooking the sea and nearby town, with a serene and romantic atmosphere. The ambience was spot on, the seating comfortable and well spaced, and the service was impeccable. Our waiter was an absolute professional, attentive without ever being intrusive, timing each course perfectly.

Every dish was superb — from the starter to the main course, dessert, and wine, everything was beautifully presented and full of flavour. It was, without question, the best meal we’ve had in Crete. The prices were also very reasonable for the quality and experience offered.

We’ll definitely be returning for our second (and sadly last) night here. Olea Dining is a true hidden gem — just a short five-minute walk from the nearby village, with plenty of parking available. If you’re staying anywhere nearby, don’t miss the chance to dine here. Highly...
