When reading reviews of beachside restaurants remember that some people review the beach and beach service, others the restaurant. The beach and chairs here do not look noteworthy but for an evening meal, it’s been our favorite spot in town. It’s still your typical Greek taverna but the simple food has been delicious (the shrimp saganaki were especially delicious, as was the fried zucchini on one of the nights and the feta in fried filo dough with honey. Oh and the crispy classic calamari).
The place feels like a family affair. Live music was unobtrusive and pleasant typical Greek style (the stuff every tourist would know and recognize). We liked the tables in the back, on the pebbly beach. I hate “touristy” places and work with food, but this struck the “touristy-Greek-taverna” balance well. Was recommended to me by one of Sweden’s top food reviewers as a spot where she likes to hang with the family on vacation.

We sat outside the terrace, on the beach. During early evening the atmosphere was amazing, pink sky with sound of waves. When it started to get dark the restaurants lights were too bright in my opinion, I like a bit more dim lights.

Read moreThis is a nice tavern serving breakfast, lunch and dinner close to the beach. The food tastes perfect while having a beautiful view out over the beach. Sun chairs included when having lunch or drinks. Personal very nice and helpful. We went to this place more or less every day during our stay.
