Let’s talk about fabulous! I have lived in New York City and Miami and have traveled many places and have been to some of the best restaurants and tasted some amazing food in my life. I’ve been coming to Samos all my life as my mom lives here.. I currently live in Athens for the last six years where as you know you can find many amazing restaurants with a variety of traditional and Greek gourmet that are 5 star .
Last night, I probably had one of the most delicious meals of all time . From the appetizers to the entrées everything was simply delicious.
To Tourlou Samos is a must when you’re visiting Samos.
This is a family run business who have come from Thessalonikki who had a huge success . I got to know the family last night.. Konstantinos who is a wine expert, educated us so much about the different lines where we left it in his hands to choose a bottle of wine for the table. The wine was incredible. When he speaks of the various wines , you trust immediately his knowledge, but also his passion which you don’t find that easily. He continuously checked in on us to make sure that we were pleased. Great service.
Nicoletta was very warm and welcoming from the moment that we came to the restaurant. Throughout the evening, she also would also stop by the table to check in on us and to ask us about our experience and our food.. you can tell that they have so much pride in their business and care about the customers. They created this beautiful greek gourmet menu with passion.
For me this restaurant, I would imagine to be in Mykonos , Dubai and New York City. It’s wonderful that they opened up In Samos. I highly recommend it.
At the end of the evening, we also met the chef Ilias who turns out to be a husband of Nikoleta, and the son of Konstantinos. ( again family business).
The restaurant is located in a beautiful area of Kokkari with beautiful views of the town. Wherever you sit, you are just surrounded by beauty. I already booked for next week when a friend is visiting Samos from abroad.
In season I would make a reservation to ensure you don’t miss out. I would give them 10 stars if I had the...
Read moreWe decided to visit this newly opened restaurant in Kokkari to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it turned out to be one of the best choices we made during our stay. The location is simply stunning – right at the spot with Kokkari’s most iconic view. The atmosphere is warm and elegant, making it a perfect place for a special evening. Following the owner’s recommendation, we tried the Samos wine Coutsodontis Muscat Blanc, which was absolutely delightful. Along with it, the Volaki Cheese was another must-try – truly unforgettable. For the main course, we had the tagliatelle with calamari and the pasta with shrimp. Both dishes were cooked with great skill and balance, highlighting the chef’s talent. Although the restaurant is still new, it is already clear that it has become a popular choice in the area. Our heartfelt thanks go to Konstantinos and his wonderful mother for their warm hospitality and excellent recommendations. If we ever return to Samos, this will definitely be one of the first places we...
Read moreThe food was very tasty, especially the beaf stew on eggplant puree. But the service is below professional. We had waited for almost an hour for our meals, no one came to say the waiting time can be longer. I went to ask the older lady about the situation, she smiled and said it is coming soon like 1hr wait was funny. Then 1st dish came, and 15 mins later when my wife finished her meal, mine arrived. Again, no info that we will not be served at the same time. This was our date and honestly this service spoiled our night. No one said sorry, no one offered solving this situation. And this was not a cheap meal. We are not coming back. Very dissapointed! I saw similar review on tripadvisor so seems they continue not to listen. This place aims at being above average but with the way they treat customers it is not and will not be. They placed plenty of tables out of greed but can't serve that many ppl. And the view is at 3 powerplant chimneys so decide if you want...
