Wave Cafe Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Eastern Samos

Classic cocktail selection, but also some of the best cocktails I have had on the island. Good variety of dishes, too, and everything I have tried is at a good sized portion and tasty for a snack bar.

The location is great. If you manage to get one of the seaside front tables at sunset you will not be disappointed, as you will get a magnificent view of the gulf and Kokkari village.

The only reason I am awarding 4 stars is that service speed can often be slow, especially at rush hour. Having returned here year after year, I can safely say that you should expect waiting times of 1+ hrs from sitting down to receiving your order, regardless of how complex it is. Lokasyonu çok iyi, ancak çalışanlar ve hizmet berbat. 8 kişi kahvaltıya gittik. Çeşitli sandeviçler ve çay sipariş ettik. Menude dana etli sandviçi ben ve diğer bir arkadaşım seçtik. Diğer kişiler peynirli sandeviç ve omlet söylediler. Bu ana kadar her şey yolunda idi. İki dana sandviçi geldi. İçini açınca domuz eti olduğundan şüphe ederek erkek garsonu çağırdım ve içindeki etin ne eti olduğunu sordum. Öğrenip geleyim dedi ve sonrasında domuz eti dedi. Biz de bunu yemek istemediğimizi iletince "Ben ne yapabilirim?" dedi ve birkaç kez tekrarladı. Menude dana eti yazıyor desek de nafile. Arkadaşım peynirli sandeviç istedi. Ben ise yerim dedim. Bir kaç ısırık aldım ve sandeviçin içinden 20 cm x 5 cm lik domuz jambonun poşet jelatini çıktı. Bayan garsonu çağırıp" Bu nedir? Bize ben ne yapabilirim? dediniz ama bu nedir? " diyerek naylon poşeti gösterdim. Yunanca birşeyler mırıldanıp gitti. İkisi de ne özür diledi ne de herhangi bir nezaket göstermedi. İlgisiz, soğuk ve kaba idiler. Sadece Türklerin gittiği bir adada bir restaurantta, müşterilerine saygı göstermeyen mutsuz çalışanların bu gibi...
