So many high star reviews. Mine probably won't chage anything, and this rich arrogant individual will keep getting richer So, I will tell you my experience and I will not hide absolutely nothing that happened from either side. We were a company of 4 adults and 3 girls, 6.5 yo, 5 yo and 2 yo which arrived at the place around 21:00. The place was really crowded and people were eating, drinking, having a great time, talking and laughing, music was playing, so the atmosphere was good. The children entered before us. One detail I noticed immediately (and i didn't like) is that when the passing-by waitress tried to walk by our children as calmly and gently as possible so that she wouldn't step on them or knock them down, the manager (or owner, i would not care at this point, i don't know their exact role, only that he was a half-bald middled aged male) said sth (i didn't hear exactly) to the waitress because she wasn't moving fast enough and she defended herself by saying "What do you want me to do, step on the kids to go faster???" which the manager ignored discretely. I have to state beforehand that the children were happy to be there, not crying or complaining at all (and they never did for as long as we were there, 6-7 minutes as you will read below) and literally seconds after arriving, they had even found the company of one other child from a local family we already knew which was sitting at a table nearby and as a matter of fact had recommended this place to us during our stay to their hotel(!) We invited the other child (4 yo) to our table to sit with the rest of the kids, since she had already come by our table and was trying to talk and interact with my 2 daughters. I repeat, no screaming, no crying, people with children will surely understand how normal children interact. Also please note that I feel extremely embarassed when my girls raise their voice or argue in public and/or my wife scolds them, to the point that i take them and leave immediately, with the cost of arguing with my wife too sometimes. Even before we ordered, so at this moment we are literally 5 minutes just after arriving, I turned and looked at the side of the bar and i saw this manager using body language and also i read his lips, (yeah, it was very loud as I told you) expressing to me his discomfort that the children are too loud and we should be quiet (!) I am nothing close to a "Karen" (nor my wife) but this completely ruined my mood. I guess that one shall have to take my word for it, but i swear the children spoke and laughed like normal well-behaved children, as all the adults in the place did.. Like, if i wanted to stay there, i should try and continuously scold my children (and the other company's child too?!) and act like the boogeyman for the rest of the evening so they don't talk too loud? To me, this is a rhetorical question. So, i gently held the hands of my two little angels, I informed my wife and the other couple of the situation, and showed myself out without saying a word, going to search for another place to have a fun evening, while they would go on and discretely grab our/their stuff and leave. 5 minutes later, after finding another promising place in the near square, i returned, finding the rest of my company outside of this place. Realizing that we would leave and they wouldn't have the chance to play with their friend or even say goodbye, the girls then started crying. And then I immediately went to confront this guy and i told him that i hope he feels satisfied and of cource I am not stepping my foot in there again etc. He responded that he received annoyed tourist faces from a near table while they were eating their food and i should not misunderstand. I responded that no, i don't misunderstand and that there was no reason for this behaviour. Then with a rich arrogance in his voice( i dont know how to explain it, but "bad" rich people have this expression and tone) he stated again that i am wrong and i shouldn't misunderstand. And then i just left and we went over the other place and made a 200€ bill...
Read moreI rarely write reviews, but this place truly deserves the warning. We waited over an hour for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was a complete disaster. The staff were unfriendly and seemed completely uninterested in their guests.
The dishes tasted as if they were made by unskilled children – absolutely no flavor, no seasoning, no care. The pasta was literally just noodles with canned tomato sauce. No herbs, no spices, just a dull, sour tomato taste straight from the can. The fries were the opposite: heavily over-seasoned in some spots and completely bland in others, as if they were tossed carelessly.
There was no love, no effort, nothing that would make you feel welcome or satisfied. Everything about this experience was dreadful. Do yourself a favor and eat literally...
Read moreAs the name tells you, its not a typical greek restaurant. Its more like a bar with lots of drinks and cocktails but also food. We wanted to have burgers so we went there and didnt regret it. The "Hera"-Burger is like a typical cheeseburger, but really good meat and cheese and everything :D the vegetable pizza also was pretty good and it all seemed very fresh and was ready very fast. The people who work there are very nice and friendly and it's a pleasure to stay there. Only one thing: if you dont like music from the 80s and 90s you might be annoyed. Because of that i guess its more a place for the evening to have some drinks with friends and not to enjoy the sound of the waves :D anyways, I would go there any time again to have a nice...
