Koi Sushi Bar | Glyfada — Restaurant in Municipality of Glyfada

The atmosphere is great with great music for my taste! Tonight it was kind of progressive electronica.. they were also projecting the movie Akira on the screen.

As for the food, it is very affordable, that's for sure. We ordered the miso soup which was excellent and the mango salad which was also excellent. Small portions though. We also ordered a spicy crab sushi and a rainbow one. I must say I wasn't that impressed. It was above average definitely, but the quality didn't feel quite there. So I would say it falls somewhere between average and pretty good. What spoiled it for me particularly was the fact that the salmon(I think) on the rainbow wasn't fresh at all, to the point I felt maybe there's a problem with it.

So that's pretty much it. Oh yeah the waiters are polite and helpful. Hope this helps you. Overall it was an above average experience. Pretty cool bathroom too :). I felt i was in some expensive club a d that says...

Disappointed :( First they didn't want to sit us inside because as they said we were not enough people to sit at the larger table even though the restaurant was almost empty with plenty of sitting, after my mom pleaded with them since we were celebrating a birthday the other waitress sorted us out. They couldn't give us to try a sip of wine that is sold by the glass, I had to buy the whole glass to actually see if we like it. The food was so and so, I was there 2 years ago and it was much better. The sushi rice was a bit dry and hard, not sticky and fluffy. Spicy crab roll was with fish sticks not crabs and it tasted foul to me, out of date as if it was about to expire, i had to spit it out! Even sashimi which is basically raw fish and nothing else didn't impress. Sorry but i'm not going...

Average sushi, having been to Japan and knowing how precise their cuts are I was disappointed. Each sushi had a different size and shape.. the taste was ok and the restaurant has a vibe to it. Service is very bad, the waitress had the saddest face I saw in this trip and you need to make your self notice otherwise they won’t come to your table. The price is affordable for the area tho.. many Japanese restaurants around with same price or even more expensive than the UK. Paid 33€ for those dishes...
