only reason i’m adding a second star is the great flan parisien and the coffee i got, HOWEVER, the survive is despicable. there were two waiters running around yet doing nothing, which resulted in a very long waiting time. Now onto the major part. Personnel doesn’t know their job!! the waiter which was in charge of our table was EXTREMELY unprofessional, constantly rolling his eyes and speaking in a degrading tone. Me and my partner ordered two dishes and he only brought us one pair of utensils. When asked to bring a second knife and fork he just tossed it onto the plate. They also informed me that the only deserts available are the ones inside and that i’ll have to go take a look for myself. Finally, when ordering, I mistook a basque cheesecake for a flan parisien treating me as if i was stupid or something. But here’s the worst part; when we called for the manager to make a complaint, that said employee ran up to us and started almost shouting “Was it the food? It was the food wasn’t it??”.

Extremely disappointing service received today at Paul’s (08/04/2025).

The waiters were very disregarding and inattentive to any instructions given on the food we ordered. Very questionably rude attitude was given from both waiters in the outdoor tent area.

Came here with family for brunch, 8 of us ordered food, 1 of them came with bacon even though we asked for it to be removed, we ordered two Athenien burgers, one well done and the other medium. Both came way overcooked (rubbery) and stone cold - including the fries.

I have asked for my ‘supposedly medium’ burger to be taken away and not to bring another one back - as it took them 45mins plus for any food to land on our table. I wasn’t very hopeful for a replacement to be served on time or any better cooked.

They were kind enough to remove it from the bill, though not even a ‘sorry’ was given, just a nod and that’s it.

I don’t believe we will be here ever again, shameful service in comparison with many other Paul’s that we have visited...

Since its opening, i was really excited about going to Paul. They have lovely pastries, baguettes, brunches etc...I have become an everyday customer. Their coffee is also excellent. I would never buy my coffee from anywhere else; they seriously have the best coffee imo. So cozy, sometimes feels like a 2nd home. I notice many different changes amongst all the waiters, however, i'm really glad for the one brunette waitress who never stops giving high quality service with her awesome smile. Nothing is too difficult to ask from her. She's a gem to Paul. I also notice her attitude do the new waiters who come and go. She always helps by offering them a hand. Unfortunately, most coffee shops lack high quality services, but Paul is lucky to have someone like her. Excited for my morning...
