Pixida Restaurant - Πυξιδα Εστιατοριο — Restaurant in Municipality of Kissamos

First of all I am a local. Not that it matters but I feel I should mention it. The food was tasty and portions are big. Seriously big. My issue is with the staff. We were 2 people (actually 1.5, as my friend is petite). We ordered and I asked the waiter “is it enough or we took too much”… he is looking at me and says “maybe is ok, but you can order more if you want”. Dishes came and we ate not more than 50%!!! Also waiter for platter although we explicitly said for one person, he decided in his own to add a second portion, which was his mistake and we got charged. I am a local which means I explained exactly what happened so there was no chance of misunderstanding. We took back home food for two days as I am against wasting it. I was a bit skeptical at first, quite empty, hardly any reviews. But I'm in anyway. Everything is very clean and chic. The people here are very nice and want to fulfill your every wish. The view is sensational and the food (I think mom cooks there) just tastes like love and Crete. We just found this place by mistake after a search on Google and just put the finger on the map. It was a delightful experience. Food was absolutely amazing. They have traditional Cretan dishes cooked perfectly. The service was very good. The guy there, a 20 something yo was so kind and knew exactly what to recommended, he knew the menu very well and was very positive. Also the atmosphere was great.
