Disappointing Repeat Visit – A Rushed Dining Experience at Patriko
This was our second and final visit to Patriko. After an underwhelming experience last year where we felt rushed through our meal, we decided to give it another shot. Unfortunately, the same pattern repeated itself—and even worsened.
We had a reservation at 20:30. The table was ready, and we ordered a salad to share as a starter and one leg of lamb as a main course for the both of us. Just five minutes later, both courses were placed on the table simultaneously. We were forced to choose between starting with the salad or eating the lamb while it was still warm—though it was already nearly cold by the time we began.
When we raised this with the waiter, he claimed this was the intention—which it clearly was not. Then came the biggest surprise: dessert and the bill served together, barely 20 minutes into our evening. The message was loud and clear—eat fast and leave.
To top it all off, I couldn’t find my bike afterward, only to discover that the restaurant staff had moved it into a side niche without informing us.
The food was actually good, which makes the whole thing even more frustrating. Patriko isn’t a restaurant where you can enjoy a relaxing night out—it’s a place where you’re processed like you’re on a conveyor belt. If you want to be in and out in 30 minutes, maybe this is your place. For anyone looking for hospitality and a real dining experience, I’d strongly suggest...
Read moreHorrible service! I am still at the place waiting for my preprepared meal to arrive, while others arriving later have already received their food and even finished it because I am a party of 1 while others are a party of 5!! In the meantime, they brought me wrong orders and did not even ask about my order or apologize for any delay. I came based on reviews and I am super frustrated! Super overrated DON’T COME!!!!
EDIT: The owner of the restaurant came while I finally received my food and was eating it and started accusing me of writing a fake review after eating all of her food. She started to insult me and was yelling at me about being Turkish and how Turkish people come and judge places (she also speaks Turkish btw). When I said I wasn’t even living in Turkey, she started assaulting me about being a Turkish living in Europe which has nothing to do with the food that she serves or the quality of the service. As I said at the beginning,...
