Pavlos Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Kos

I rarely give low ratings, but with this hotel, I don’t even know where to begin. I’ve stayed at many hotels around the world, but this was by far the worst one I’ve ever experienced. There was neither dishwashing detergent nor shampoo—just a poor-quality soap. Everything was extremely old, even the hair dryer was a useless 10-watt device. The stove didn’t work, and despite doing a lot of shopping, we were forced to eat dinner outside after spending nearly an hour trying to get it to work.

When we went down to the reception, they didn’t believe us. Instead, they told us we could complain wherever we wanted. Even when we brought down a pot of pasta water and food in the elevator to show them, they refused to cook it on their own stove. They showed no concern for our little daughter’s mealtime or bedtime and told us “they didn’t see any problem and that we were getting upset for no reason.”

The next day, only after our insistence, they installed a new stove, and the room was cleaned just because we had complained. However, we noticed that someone had entered our room without permission and tested the stoves.

The only good thing about this hotel is its location. But anyone considering staying here should know that they’ll be staying in a truly old...

Great location if you want to be close to the action (city center, restaurants, bars, shops). You can walk from the ferry. Airport is about a 30 minute drive. Great staff, very kind personnel, always ready to meet your demands. The amenities (pool, lobby, snack bar, etc.) are very well maitained and welcoming. The rooms are very clean, but furniture is worn out and needs some updating. Our room was spacious and had lots of space for our family (2 adults, 2 young adults). The kitchen has the bare minimum, and it is difficult to cook a real meal. Hot water at times, depending on the hour of the day. Terrible wifi, slow and difficult to keep the connection. Wifi was even down for a whole day, which was very annoying because we use internet when looking for activities and things to visit ! I would still recommend this hotel though, we did enjoy...

Tolles (Familien) Hotel in guter Lauflage zum Hafen von Kos. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und sehr saubere Zimmer. Das Hotel befindet sich in einer Seitenstraße der Hauptstadt von Kos. Dort ist es relativ ruhig (halt ein paar Roller und Autos, die aber nicht weiter stören) und von dort sind es zum Hafen von Kos (und der Altstadt) ca. 400-500 Meter, die man locker zu Fuß gehen kann. Auch alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in Lauflage erreichbar. Das weiteste ist das römische Odeon mit 800 Metern. Der Pool hinterm Haus ist ebenfalls sehr sauber und die Größe reicht locker aus um jeden Tag ein wenig zu schwimmen (Süßwasser-Pool) Die Innenausstattung der Zimmer ist ein wenig old school, aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Dafür ist das Hotel auch um einiges günstiger als andere! Direkt nebenan ist ein Kiosk der von morgens 09:00 bis nachts um 01:00 geöffnet hat. Das ist praktisch, da jedes Zimmer über eine Kochnische mit Mikrowelle, Herd, Kühlschrank, Töpfen, Toaster und kompletten Geschirr verfügt! Wer keine Lust auf kochen hat kann auch das sehr gute Restaurant gegenüber besuchen. Leckeres Essen zu guten Preisen auf der anderen Straßenseite. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte bei uns einwandfrei und (schnelles) WLAN war selbst im 4. Stock, der Lobby, am Pool und dem Rest des Hotels kein Problem. Absolut TOP! Vor dem Hotel gibt es zig großzügige Sitzmöglichkeiten um abends noch vor dem Hotel den Abend ausklingen zu lassen. Dabei muss man nicht mal etwas zu trinken o.ä. bestellen. Alles in allem eine familiäre Atmosphäre und super nette Leute. Keine Radau oder nerviges was stören würde. Ich würde das Hotel definitiv wieder besuchen und jedem...
