this is an absolute gem of a restaurant in kos town. the restaurant, the food, the cocktails, the staff, 11/10 the cocktails were incredible especially the berry secret (passion fruit, mango, ginger and lime, splendid) and all so decently priced we had a mix of starters, mini kebabs which are not mini but were to die for, the variety starter which includes pita and three dips which was amazing and perfect for sharing (be warned the starters were biiigggg) and the wine cheese pie which was also amazing with the mains, there was loads to choose from even though it’s a steakhouse, so don’t be put off if you don’t want steak! there are plenty of options, including burgers, pasta, a mix of grill options and souvlaki (OUT OF THIS WORLD) we had the fillet steak (when i tell you this was the best piece of steak, please believe me) bros burger (so so good but very filling) and souvlaki sandwiches which you can choose between a number of meats, we had a pork one and a mince meat (both were so so delicious) we didn’t have desert as we were all in food comas but the options looked lovely the staff, where do i start, they were all so so friendly, helpful and attentive, they took our orders and cleaned up promptly, gave me a holdall for my bag, asked us if we were ready for mains, served drinks quickly and checked up on us, all with a smile on their faces, when we paid we were given little lemon slushies which helped with the food comas and again were delicious, the staff also kindly called a cab for us to top it all off, there were cats! they weren’t begging for food but just sat there and did their thing if i could give more...
Read moreVisited as a couple on Saturday evening. Restaurant was reasonably busy at the time of our visit but we were seated immediately and courteously. Waiter was friendly enough and took our drinks order. Wife ordered steak and chips, I ordered chicken with grilled veg and sweet pepper jam. From that point it was a tale of two halves. My wife absolutely loved her dish, the steak was cooked to perfection - tender, juicy and well seasoned. Mine, however, was a real disappointment. The chicken towards the bone was raw, so I had to leave about 25% of it. The grilled vegetables were swimming in oil on the plate, not well seasoned. The sweet pepper jam was just nonsense - it was like pasta sauce out a jar, no seasoning and very little sweetness, definitely not a jam. I was hoping for something really special with this jam but it was such a disappointment. But the biggest issue was the raw chicken. When the waiter cleared our plates, I pointed it out to him, to be fair he apologised immediately and took my plate over to the head chef who immediately looked disappointed. The waiter then came back to apologise again and thank me for bringing it to their attention. But beyond this, there was no offer of any recompense - even a small gesture would have been appreciated. We finished up and left. Summary - steak is awesome, chips are decent. Everything else seems hit or miss (mostly miss in my case). Real shame because from the outside this place looks amazing and I loved the open kitchen. But the execution wasn't 100% which I can't forgive for the number of people working in...
Read moreThe best steak restaurant around. Would give it 10☆ if I could. Made a reservation for 2 in person then we needed to change it over the phone to 5 people, this was easily done. Arrived and shown to our table and the waiters were lovely and friendly. The food was to die for. The sommelier definitely knew his wine and recommended a beautiful red wine to go with the steaks. Food was fresh and hot and after we had eaten our starters we were asked if we wanted to wait a short while for mains. After the meal my Grandson told Loukas, one of the waiters, that his meal was 5 out of 5 and 3 kisses to the chefs, Loukas then lifted him up, carried him to the chefs so he could tell them in person and they all high fived him. Although no children's menu they made a smaller plate of the spaghetti carbonara for my Grandson who thoroughly enjoyed it all. This wasn't just a meal, it was a wonderful experience that we are so glad we had. This was our last meal of the holiday and it couldn't have been any better. We were there for 3½hrs and not once did they rush us or ask us to leave. They ordered taxi's for us that arrived within minutes. If you like steak and visit Kos, you cannot go home without paying this beautiful restaurant a visit and I recommend you book in advance. Maybe not the cheapest restaurant but by far the best food and...
