Artemis Cafe And Cocktail Snack bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

Fabulous find. Artemis was exactly the place we went looking for. Comfortable seating, shade, sea view, excellent food and drinks. We made this place a daily event during our recent stay in Kos and Tina became a firm friend as she took our orders and gently corrected my attempts at the Greek language. My favourite, the apple pie, was deliscious as was the ice cream that accompanied it. An ice cold beer or two helped while away a peaceful hour or so whilst watching the boats come and go just across the quiet street. My wife opted for selections from the extensive ice cream dessert menu along with a variety of beverages including smoothies, iced coffee and the aptly named Fruit Fantasy. Everything arrived promptly with the one exception bring the waffle ordered on day one which we were advised would take time to be freshly prepared. In the event, it was not an unduly long wait and after all, it was not as if we had anywhere to rush off to...

We asked for 2 waffles, nothing extra, the whole place was empty, we waited more than 40 minutes. It's incomprehensible that it takes 40 minutes for the lady who doesn't even take our order. We took the menu ourselves and looked for it so we could order. And it's not the first time we've been here, 1 day ago we asked for 2 coffees, which also took half an hour for the lady.. The place doesn't even deserve 1 star, More people should be hired and the lady kicked out. nice place and that's all, but...

This is in my opinion the nicest coffee , snack and cocktails Bar on the seafront, it overlooks the harbour so you can by day watch the boats coming and going or simply soak up the sun ☀️ and enjoy the ambiance. By night it changes into a bar/ cocktail bar with as by day plenty of seating in the open air or under cover. It’s run by a lovely Greek family and you always feel welcome I would highly recommend this bar to any body visiting the harbour front it will not disappoint...
