Came here on our 4th night into an 11 night holiday. The owner is very humble and an excellent host. Staff are extremely attentive and pleasant. Food was just top dollar. Not as busy as some other restaurants further towards the centre (you are talking 2 mins walk, if that) as people seemed to bypass it, not sure if that’s normal though. Anyway, after speaking to the owner and congratulating him for such excellent fare, he told us about the Greek evening he held on Friday (Wednesday too), so we promptly reserved a table. Were we so glad we did. Different food choices but equally top dollar. You won’t get better food anywhere else and the value for money is definitely the best. Hope the owner recognises David as the second on the reservation list. To add some authenticity to it, many local friends were there to celebrate too and to top it off, chef proposed and bride to be accepted. Great night and great memories. Read moreJust wow! This is the best restaurant in Tigaki! Went in here on a whim and was very pleasantly surprised by not only the food but service also. This is a small classic taverna (beautiful) that seems to be family owned. Our waitress was wonderful and spoke amazing English. Once inside, we were greeted by the chef / owner himself who was also very warm and friendly. When we placed orders, he joked with us, gave menu recommendations and even upgraded our dishes with the promise of if we did not like his input, we wouldn’t pay. The food was just perfect. We cannot get the shrimp saganaki out of our minds. Please I need the recipe! An absolute MUST GO when in Tigaki, you will not be dissapointed in the authentic Greek dining experience and welcoming atmosphere.

Read moreThe service was warm and genuine. The menu is a celebration of traditional Greek flavors. The tzatziki was creamy and garlicky, the mousaka was rich, layered and comforting. The stifado with the pearl onions and the mild tomato sauce, melted in the mouth. The lamb and potatoes in Kleftiko rustic dish was tender and seasoned beautifully with local herbs and cheese. Everything tasted homemade and true to its roots. Prices were fair, especially considering the generous portions and quality of local products. This place offers an authentic and satisfying experience of Greek cuisine. If you're craving authentic Greek food that feels like a warm hug from a Mediterranean grandmother this restaurant is a must-visit. I’ll...
