Taverna Sunshine — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

We ate at this restaurant as part of our stay at the Sunshine Hotel in Tigaki. The restaurant is located next to the hotel but is also open to the public. We were all inclusive so we had breakfast, lunch and tea included. Breakfast was the worst course of the three. We only woke up for breakfast 2-3 days out of our week holiday as we were just not impressed with it. The lunch and tea were a lot better. There was only one evening that we went out for a meal as the buffet just did not appeal to us. There is always a salad bar, some plain food such as chips, rice, plain pasta and chicken nuggets. Then there is always a vegetarian, fish and meat option, as well as a soup option. They also have dessert in the buffet which is always melon, and some other treats. The staff were very friendly and came and took a drinks order for you whilst you were eating. There are cats nearby and you are allowed to feed them, but has to get off the property due to slipping hazards.
