Aspros Mylos — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

I have never had a worse dining experience than at Aspros Spiros. From start to finish, the service was absolutely appalling. The restaurant was severely understaffed, and it took over an hour just to get our appetizers. When they finally arrived, the food was incredibly disappointing – the fried calamari was stale, flavorless, and completely inedible.

The staff, particularly one blonde waitress, were beyond rude and unprofessional. Every time we or any other customer tried to give feedback, they would argue and snap back, constantly reminding us that “we don’t know better than them.” There was absolutely no sense of Greek hospitality – it felt like we were inconveniencing them by even being there.

Things escalated when it was time to pay the bill. We had already expressed that we didn’t want to pay for the inedible appetizers, and the blonde waitress had the audacity to yell and argue, saying things like “It’s not my problem if you don’t like the food” and “You don’t know better.” Her attitude was shocking and completely unprofessional.

If you're looking for a warm, welcoming Greek dining experience, this is NOT the place. The service was abysmal, the food was terrible, and the staff made us feel like we were the problem. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Overall opinion; very good indeed.

Greeted by welcoming staff and picked a decent table. Didn't have to wait too long for our starters or mains. The pitta bread seemed to resemble a cross between pitta and naan, but much I'm not complaining as it was beautiful.

The Stifado was cooked to perfection, the lamb was tender. The stuffed tomatoes were filled with rice and mince - winner. The pasta was good too.

The only drawback, my daughter's chair kept getting knocked by various people as it seemed there wasn't enough room for some people to get around the tables.

Another downer.. (tongue in cheek).. After the bill had arrived & paid for, some great desserts made their way to the next table. Ah well, I suppose we'll have to go back then.

Very nice meal & a great...

My partner and I took our young daughter here for dinner while staying in Tingaki and had a great time. The waiting staff were very friendly and service was really quick. Our orders were taken shortly after being seated and the table cleared without hesitation. As odd as it may sound, the portion sizes and quality were far larger and better than the pricing suggests - they could certainly charge more and would be more than justified in doing so! Aspros Mylos is definitely somewhere we would recommend to anyone visiting Tingaki and looking for...
