worst place to spend time in amoudara. Went there at 18:30, tried to ordered something to eat they told me the kitchen is closed they can only do a pizza (that frozen one you get from the supermarket) we were hungry so we said what the heck and we got it. after we ate the pizza (no taste at all) she served next to us a couple (probably a friend of them with a kid) chicken with something. So I asked her: didn't you tell me that the kitchen is closed? and she said that the couple ordered before us, which wasn't the case because i saw them checking the catalog after we received our pizza. Then I wanted to take a shower - no water, asked the waitress to turn the water back on, she asks the bartender and then she told me that there is a fault with the water pipeline and the council is to blame. Then I noticed the place next to them which is called EDEM had water (guess what, no fault in the council pipeline - is the same pipeline). So I went to Edem and took a shower there. Not going again at that fysalida place even if they pay me to do so. Next time I am giving my money to EDEM, I own them...

Absolutely loved this beach bar. Service was fantastic, the sea was crystal clear and perfect for swimming, beach was sandy and clean and well looked after and loungers were very comfortable.

We stayed all day after taking the public bus from Heraklion while on a cruise.. It is a half hr bus ride and then a 1 minute walk from the bus stop

Use of the loungers is included as long as you spend 5 euros which is incredible compared to other places in Greece.

The service was friendly and efficient and the drinks and food were excellent. We had chicken gyros for lunch and drinks throughout the day portions are very large and a great price.

Music at the beach bar/seating area was nice and chilled and added to the relaxed atmosphere

Ich war sehr unangenehm berührt!! Einer meiner unangenehmsten Augenblicke auf Kreta. Erst war es nicht möglich die Rechnung mit Karte zu bezahlen, trotz mehrmaligen vorherigen Fragens.Die Schuld dafür wurde mir gegeben, begleitet von der Frage, ob auf der Karte Guthaben sei. Eine andere Möglichkeit ausser Barzahlung wurde mir dann nicht angeboten, z.b. Paypal, GooglePay etc. ...Also musste ich zu einem ATM und für 9,95 Euro Gebühren Bargeld abheben. Dann glaubte ich, dort meine Brille liegen gelassen zu gaben. Bin zurück und habe erst die Kellnerin gefragt. Sie meinte, nichts gefunden. Dann sagte ich, naja, ich hatte sie hier zu letzt... Daraufhin kam sehr schnell ein Mann hinter dem Tresen vor. Er stellte sich nicht vor, ich denke mal, der Chef oder so. Er war komplett aggressiv und aufgebracht und hat in ziemlich lauten, robusten Ton mir gesagt, wenn hier was gefunden worden sei, dann würde das hier gesammelt werden. Daraufhin zog er mich vor einen Bildschirm und zeigte mir ein Video von unserem Aufenthalt dort, indem schlussendluch auch zu sehen war, dass ich meine Brille mitgenommen hatte. Dennoch war ich geschockt von der Aggressivität und dem Ton diesen Herrens!!! Während meines ganzen Aufenthalts auf Kreta, war er mit Abstand die unfreundlichste Person! Obacht an alle....hier wird man gegen seinen Willen gefilmt!!!! Würde diese Beachbar, samt Essen und Personal, niemanden empfehlen, geht lieber ein paar Schritte weiter ins Heaven, denn dort seid ihr als Gast wirklich...
