Edem Island Beach Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Malevizi

Comfortable sunbeds! Also we were really surprised with the quality and value for money when it comes to food. For 5 Euro you get a huge waffle with nutella and fruits, and for just 6.5 Euro you can get a big portion of chicken souvlaki with baked potatoes, that actually tastes REALLY GOOD and is freshly prepared. I do not even understand how it is possible to get much better food in a place like a beach bar - as a comparison, we have visited a few days earlier Petousis Restaurant a few blocks away, and for 7.5 Euro we got a slice of naked feta cheese on aluminium foil with a half of a tomato slice...

Casually found this Beach bar when we were driving to Chania and we are so glad we did! The beach chairs are extremely comfortable and free as long as you buy something from the bar. We truly enjoyed our time here so much we had to come back twice! Good drinks (both alcoholic and not) and great customer service. The beach was clean both times we visited. It was a bit windy the second time we were there, but it still didn't prevent us from enjoying our time. 10/10 recommend...

Not recommended when crowded, the bar is fine but draught beer is only Amstel, which is rubbish. Maybe it's ok when not too crowded but I cannot imagine when that would be. Too many people smoking non stop around, you can't get fresh air, terrible. Waters are muddy because of too many people at once not even swimming but doing games and crazy stuff which lifts all sand up. There are better places...
